How to Help a Dolphin in Need.

One of the posters to this video stated the following:

If anyone its wondering why this happened, there was a 6.1 magnitude earthquake in Argentina South America on the same day. Earthquakes have a negative affect on their sonar causing them to get disoriented and breach themselves.

Doesnt restore it completely, but does put it on the right track. I'm no expert on dolphins, and if earthquakes do cause this disorientation effect in dolphins, than I've learned something new today.

I'd be a bit doubtful of the "Earthquake theory". At any given second, there are multiple earthquakes occurring all over the world. If an earthquake screwed up their sonar, there wouldn't be any coastal dolphins left in the water.

Here's what I'm talking about.

Sorry it didn't tabulate but there are about 1.5 million detectable quakes/year.

That does restore faith in humanity.

Another thing that made feel good recently is last night on the Amazing Race (yes, I watch that mind-numbing program) one of the racers was talking about his ill daughter and how he hoped to win some money to pay for her medical care. Another team heard about it and gave the man half of the money the won for coming in first place in the leg. They gave away $5,000 to a man they'd known a couple of weeks, tops.

Not a thing wrong with that.

Just a thought but I'm thinking that St. Judes Childrens hospital could have put that money to better use.

They say that thinking new thoughts all the time fights things like Alzheimers

So, what? You don't agree it was a terrific, random act of kindess for these guys to give away half their winnings for a member of an opposing team to use towards his daughter's medical bills?? You think it would have helped the recipient more if they had just given the money to St. Judes?
