Yes, they are.

A person on the Fetl just talked about a caning demo at South Plains... WHERE THEY USED HOT WHEELS TRACK.

Okay, the neighbor girl Mary Ellen had hot wheels so I played them at her house, and so it's been forty years or so, but I do NOT remember Hot Wheels track being sturdy or flexible enough for such activities!! Did they come up with some kind of new and improved hot wheels track in later decades?

I am sad that I miss all the meets that happen during tax season. But now I am inspired to beat someone up this weekend. [:)]

Hey, when I was a kid, hot wheels tracks were quite flexible, bright orange and made a wonderful whistling noise when you slashed them through the air. I don't know about newer tracks, this would have been early, early seventies.

I do remember slashing them through the air, especially the curved part that also made a great clacking sound! (1971.... BEST TOYS EVAR) I just don't remember it being good caning material.

Ah, the orange length of track, the ones which were connected with a harder plastic "tongue"...also had the little buildings run on D batteries with wheels inside which pushed the cars through.

Okay, the buildings would have been more fun for blunt force but used to "fence" with the lengths of track,

She didnt have the little buildings, just the track with the big loop.

Thank god for older cousins, I had boxes of track, 6-8 buildings, curved corners, etc...

Her older sisters didn't care about cars at all. The neighbor boys had those radio control cars mostly.

I want to go toy shopping NOW.

Oh no I am forbidden such things. I allowed myself ONE rummage earlier this year. Too much stuff, not enough space. And not much of it nice and compressible like yarn.

No we aren't.

... and hell, if I had your big bouncy page 23 orbs of joy, I could have loads of fun all by myself and wouldn't need no darn 'ol Hot Wheels track to have a great time. Imagine a trampoline, a full length mirror and Hibby jumping up and down with a digital camera taking a series of 1000 photos at exactly the same height & spot each time. Then stitch all the photos together in a video and play them back at 30 fps. It would look like her boobies had a life of their own and were wiggling on their own. Like claymation.

See Hibby, we don't need no Hot Wheels.
