To celebrate pi day i'm going to bake...chocolate chip cookies.

i remember teaching geometry one year and bringing to class all sorts of round things - dinner plates, bicycle tire, lamp shade, etc. The students had to measure the circumference and diameter and calculate the value of pi. (circumference divided by diameter) Then they had to show that it didn't matter how big or small the circle was the answer was always the same.

Back on topic - i use circular knitting needles when i make sweaters and vests.
