Could you please tell me where the Search Button is if I know the exact name of a username here on this site?

I did look, but it's probably staring me right in the face but can't find it. Geez, I feel silly. Thanks in advance!

Funny thing, Ashjor, I also was going to include the same image as an example.
Great minds, and all that. :)

Thanks for ALL of your comments which brings me to more questions, ha ha. You might see me a lot here.

OK:

1. If I know the username of a person that is here how do I search for the member? Where is the search button? NOT a forum?
2. Why is it showing Vanilla under my pic here? I did not choose that and I am not that, ha ha, want some proof? :)
3. Why am I not getting any notifications in my email addy inbox that I got responses from all you wonderful kinky people?

Again, thanks for all the tips, and I'll be back!...........

OK, now I'm feeling not just silly, but extremely naive. I am on collarchat.com. All of my questions are about collarme.com. I clicked on Message board to see if I could find out some answers and it took me away from the original site. Don't shoot me! LOL

its alright, there are still things Im learning about the forums. I have posted things in the wrong areas. I find this side of cm to be more...mature than the other. the other side feels like a kindergarten class of boys raising their hands for Me to pick them to read, but Im teaching math. LOL. it just seems like a headache over there. so I find myself over here more often. but good luck to you all the same :D

It may be that your nick was used by someone else who then deleted their Collarme account.  Looking at your name this is very possible.  The system seems to keep a memory of nicks, even deleted ones.  Someone wrote recently that they had deleted their account a long time ago, just rejoined using the same nick, and the system had remembered how many forum posts they'd made with that name.

As for the vanilla tag under your name here on the forums, it just means you haven't made many posts yet. Stick around, and you can watch the tag and the ice cream cone change as your post count increases.

The forums are part of collarme, the discussion side of the site. So don't worry about being on collarchat vs. collarme to ask your questions. As for the email notifications, have you checked your spam folder? You may need to add whatever address collarme uses for notifications to your contact list so it lands in your inbox, and not in spam.

ETA: to get email notifications of responses to a thread here on the forums, you need to subscribe to the thread.

Looks like someone else already addressed the join date question, and with a better answer than I'd have been able to come up with. Ditto for the searching.

Welcome to the site!

1.  On the HOME page of Collarme.  Go half way down the page to where it says "Username".  Type in the name there.
2.  Sometimes it is a good idea to read all those stickies at the top of each forum.  There you would discover that until you have made 25 posts you will have the ice cream cone and vanilla.  So hurry up and make more posts to loose that cone.
3.  I have never gotten any notification that someone has replied to one of my posts.  Not sure how you would do it.

@ BurntKitty

Thanks for the nice welcome! I didn't realize that this particular forum had conversations and other groups all of its own (vs. Collarme.com). From the little bit of interaction from others here from questions I posted, I can tell the difference in the mentality here. Yeah, I'd like to explore this site more!

C-ya around :)
