He had put the Gun
To his head,

Two minutes from now he would
Be dead.

He looked for help inside
His head,

And two minutes from now he
Would soon be dead.

Like father like son,
Death would come, like the
Setting sun.

A minute to go, and no
One Home,

He clings to what is left
Of his empt soul.

Twenty seconds now 10.
One second to go
Till the End.

The gun is pointed to his
Head,

And a second from now he
Would soon be Dead??

Damn. I would assume not, if you're writing. A friend of mine killed himself in his car, and I often wondered what he was thinking about as he asphixiated (SP?). Was it about his daughter? His pointless marrage? What?

....I have to ask if this is indeed 'creative writing' or perhaps a cry for help instead. Most people who want to kill themselves just do it-they don't write about it. If they do, most would consider it some kind of cry for help. I do hope you find a way to get the help you need in order to live a productive and happy life. I hate to assume anything though...did you write about yourself or is it about someone else? I wish you the best!

Whew! I am glad it's just a poem and not about you or anyone else in particular.....now that I know you're happy it's a relief...Now, go write something to convey that happiness! The world can always use more happy things!
