Thank you so far its all new objecification I'll take it on board

And I'm a princess for a reason not a piece of furniture

I am consumed with curiosity...so what is the reason that you're a princess then? You're saying there is a reason and that you are in fact a princess, well, I'd like to know how you came by that title? No snark involved, just honest curiosity. Is it a family inheritance of some type? Land, title, money....that sort of thing?

A serious reply here- you've been given some extremely good advice regarding the safety of the sub or subs you display as 'furniture'. A footstool or a small table or a coatrack or a floor lamp is even somewhat realistic for light use. I would NOT have any human furniture that anyone was allowed to actually SIT on or put any significant weight on. And I'll chime in again with give the 'furniture' breaks every hour or so, at least 15 minutes to walk around, use the bathroom, drink some water, possibly even have a few bites of a snack. Then put them back into service in a different position.

Unless YOU personally want to spend the entire party going from one piece of furniture to another personally physically checking on their well being, you need to either have only one or two subs as furniture at one time, or have enough helpers that no tied up sub goes for more than 5 or 10 minutes without being actually physically checked on. And by physically checking, I mean actually laying your own precious hands on them to check that no limb is suffering from lack of circulation, and that the sub is breathing ok and is concious and coherent.

You could make a party game of it, provide rope and possibly other sorts of restraints, and have a friendly competition to see who can come up with the most interesting piece of sub art. Simple rules- the binding must be done safely, so that it can be maintained for at least half an hour without endangering the sub. Those who choose not to participate in the binding get to be the judges.

I think it sounds like fun.As long as its clearly done right. She is asking questions and taking the information in.Isn't that the way to learn?Theres no stupid question here.Perhaps other people who have been curious about this themselves can learn a few things here.

For 8 hours the only "furniture piece" i would be is a doormat.

If i pee on the floor though don't blame me because that is a long time to go without a bathroom break.

it seems more likely that you're getting shot down for your royal proclamation. Unfortunately your profile gives the wrong impression as it reads like the back cover of a porn DVD.

CM is a BDSM site. But the critical thing here is -real- bdsm, not fantasy porn scenarios. Where slaves need a drink of water, regular bathroom breaks, and a safeword. If you come into these forums with an arrogant attitude and a complete ignorance of health issues, people tend to take a dislike to you pretty quickly, because you come across as some combination of aloof, psychotic, and naive.

It's pretty easy to get liked again really :p

back on topic, 6-8 hours is a pretty preposterous time to sit in one position. regular rotation and resting is generally advised. Perhaps rather than constantly being objects, the subs can simply relax most of the time until specifically needed to take an object role. then they'll be on top form. Let them go chill in a cage or something til another coffee table is needed ^.^

Try to remember that for many who habitate these Boards, this is the sum total of their D/s life. So when you come along wanting/trying to do stuff real life (gasp), you're painting an easy bullseye on yourself. Fantasy rules....

Personally, I've never seen so much pathetic shit over a "princess" tag, but I'm not especially surprised by it, either. Now if you'd gone with everyone's favourite of "slut", they'd likely leave you be. (esp me... lol)

In the meantime, learn to just ignore that which is not relevant to you. Life isn't all spam, graffiti and landfill....

Focus.

You weren't shot down. Some people gave you some very good advice on how to go about what you are wanting to do. Others made with the funny....that happens on most internet forums, this one is no different. Take the good advice you were given and try to laugh about the silly stuff. Also try to remember that though you are a princess to your subs to us you are just another person. We do not know you and have no reason to treat you as if you hold any power over us. It never harms anyone to say they are new at something. Or even to just share ideas about the different ways we do things.

If you're f.. mucking around with glass table tops and under practiced subs. Google yourself some GLASS SUCTION LIFTERS

They're a pair of suction handles, you clamp to the glass either side of the sub, to use as anchor points for harnesses and straps. People sweat and wet glass is fucking slippery enough to slide off them.

Shootin at newbies will bring a lotta other newbies in, I guess, some people just like to talk to themselves and their insiders.
Beware of opinions that dont fit your profile.
It might lead you to change.

Thats some good advise about the sweating.
