My own poem
I opened the Facebook,
Kalina is born,
her proud father is laughing,
uploading her pictures to Facebook,
friends are commenting and "liking".
I read the news,
22 kids are killed
France and Belgium in shock!
Now I don't know if I should mourn those 22 who died,
or rejoice with Kalina's father,
and hundreds of happy fathers and mothers,
who upload pictures of their babies to Facebook,
or ignore both of these things,
and study for my own exams,
exercise my own muscles,
go out with my own friends,
and pour beer in my own stomach?
I already made the decision, unconsciously though,
by writing my own poem.
