So is there some secret way I dont know about to tell whether someone is fake or real? so far I've been message by several "dommes" that just want me to register to some site! and basically give them my credit card info?

Any advice is appreciated

You pretty much answered your own question. If they ask you to sign up for some other site or demand you pay them when they have done nothing for you...they are fake. As with anything else on the net there are scammers here too. Use your brain, be aware, don't do something silly because your urges are driving you to. Good luck.

Oh I'm not worried about! no ones going to get my credit card/personnel information haha! I figured it was basically talking to them to figure out if their real/fake I just needed to verify that seeing how I'm new here!

Bright boy, you are correct. Just talking to them will normally tell you if they are real or not. You are already ahead of many new people, cheers.

yeah, the ones asking for your credit card info or lead to external sites, those are the fakes. The real ones might not message you at all because they don't know you exist out there in internet neverneverland. You find the "real" ones by looking at profiles, seeing if what they have to say makes sense to you, and you introduce yourself. Do so in a polite way, and you might get some nice responses.

Now if you want to actually meet some one, you may have to leave this site altogether and go to a munch in your area, if you have one. If you don't know what a munch is, it's a low pressure casual get together, usually at a pub or restaurant. Also another good way to learn the difference between the fakes and the reals, is to have a conversation or 2 with them, find out what they are all about. If it all sounds exciting/good to you, then BINGO there you have it, you might have a real Domme right there.

Hon, you need to fill out the rest of your profile, including likes and dislikes so that a Domme can see if you might be a good fit for her.

...and keep it about 75% (or more) vanilla interests to 25% kink so you appear well-rounded and not the epitome of the HNG. Better yet...leave the kink out altogether and see what happens. While I am agreeing about the vanilla sharing, if you have some kind of dealbreaker kink, announce it up front. I love playing dressup, but cd/tv is not a quality I want in a partner. Some stuff I need to know. Otherwise, some display of wwhat you're like outside of play is essential.

Good point, LadyHib. Though I've indulged it in the past, not a fan of CD/TV (sounds like a television station!). I'd take a pass if this was the person's raison d'etre. On the other hand, it's hilarious corresponding with men whose list of 'hard limit' or 'lives for' goes out the window when I'm actually talking with them. Suddenly it becomes all about 'whatever you like, Ma'am.'

It's questionable whether a "professional dominatrix" is a "real" domme, particularly since they usually offer "services" whereas in reality the domme should be getting served, not giving service.

Still I guess that is not what you are looking for.

Some of the people here may not even be profesional dommes and may just be chancing their luck at getting your cash, possibly to allow you to view some videos that might not even be theirs by right to sell.

Yes, if they ask you to immediately register at some website, they are probibly looking for credit card info. So I guess you just answered your own question.

I suggest attending munches in your area. Nothing more real than being face to face with someone, and they're generally ultra-low pressure by design.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to have some fun. I don't personally look for them, but I don't consider them or the experiences they offer less "real" because of it.

I'd have to disagree with you menowimp, as a pro Domme, I have sessions and I do what pleases Me in them. I can't speak for the rest of the pro Dommes out there, but for Me, one wanting a session should find out what I'm into, not what he wants. Also the fact that I'm not hard up for money helps Me. From what I read on the other side, I see pro Dommes advertising for what the sub wants just because he pays Her. I will and have refused money. So there are some of us that are different. :)

I would agree however that ones who try to lead you to another site are fake. Also that a real Pro isn't searching for subs, Most of the times, She is being sought out.
