I happened to be browsing profiles and came across an interesting picture. It was of a hard cock with a small birthday candle inserted into the urethra lit and dripping wax. I have to say it was something that really piqued my interest. I have not done any type of urethra play and I've only had the burning sensation of soap or shampoo in that area. Just the small amount of googling seemed to mention that there would be a risk of infection. Is this not healthy?

Sticking anything in your urethra is going to carry the risk of infection. I can't imagine ones urethra not being ultra sensitive letting hot wax into it doesn't sound like a good idea. I can imagine the potential for it getting stuck too... I'm just talking from my gut though; hopefully, someone else will know better.

Soyokaze is correct. Any time you insert anything (this includes catheters) into your urethra, you run the risk of infection, especially something as unsterile as a candle.

For this reason, I personally advise against it, but I'm sure there will be plenty of folks who will tell you all about the various objects they put into their penis.

P.S. After you are discharged from the E.D., the staff will be laughing....as in, "oh man, not another one!"

That picture can be duplicated without anything being inserted into the urethra.

Step 1 - Prepare wick - Do this the same way that you would if you were preparing the wick to pour a candle into a mold.  Curl about a quarter of an inch of the wick underneath a piece of mold sealer.  (Again, the same as you would use if you were pouring wax into a mold.)

Step 2 - Cover the opening -  Mold sealer is just tacky enough to stick to skin when it has been flattened to between an eighth and a sixteen of an inch thick.  Place the flattened mold sealer over the hole, with the curled end of the wick toward the penis, and the longer end of the wick that you intend to light going away from the penis.

Step 3 - Start dripping wax - Unlike pouring melted wax into a mold, you are actually going to do the sides first and as your wax hardens, move further towards the wick.  Depending on how long you intend to 'burn your candle' is how thick you want your wax to be.  Drip wax from the base of the penis toward the head and back again until you have a smooth, clean look. 

Step 4 -  Apply as many coats of wax as desired, allowing each coat to cool and set before applying the next.  (The idea is to not remelt the wax you have already applied.)  The shape will hold for several coats.  Take a great amount of care that the wax covering the mold sealer/wick area is at least a half an inch thick.

Step 5 - Finished photo shoot product.  Light your wick and even let it get to the point where some of the wax will drip from the end of your 'candle'.  Get your pictures fairly quick because you do not want the flame to reach the mold sealer.  That stuff certainly will conduct heat if the flame gets close enough.
