I just read this and thought that the women here would appreciate it.

My interpretation of the numbers is that a good leader is a good leader, regardless of gender. Women do have to work that much harder for the same recognition, but overall, good is good. [:)]

Yup.

The one thing they pointed out about numbers was that the percentages were skewed because of the low numbers of women further up the ladder. So one can only imagine, if there were an equal number of women in those leadership positions, what the ratings would be.

I'd suspect with the bias against them only the most exceptional make it where a more mediocre man might have gotten by.

Frankly, I think this thread's a bit on the weedy side, La T. You need to be a bit more inflammatory than this to get CM's usual mix of female supremacists and intensely-bearded Gorean Doms pulling out their six-shooters on each other.

I wonder where kids fit in? There is no mention on if these women had kids, how kids affect their ability to climb that slippery ladder both in their dedication to the job and as those that would promote her see kids affecting her work, etc..

I've rarely seen women climbing ladders, especially if they've been wearing short skirts. Just saying. Poor show.

Ah but you see, I have already noticed that planet Gor seems to be a bit sparsely populated these days and those diehards that are left have been busy trying to preach their archaic beliefs in P&R, supporting the ridiculous religious right.

The female supremacists are busy with their male slaves......the guys that actually follow through and submit yanno...[;)].......so I figured it was safe.

And, there is a reason I posted here, rather than off topic or in P&R.

And TJ, if these fabulous women leaders and their partners are anything like a couple I met the other day........the men, or women, they are in relationships with actually do their share of the child rearing and household work. Rather than simply pander to the concept.
