I posted a reply to a thread, found another thread of interest and attempted to post a short but on topic reply to that thread and the second post was denied for trying to post two messages in too short a succession. How about a filter that stops people from posting two consecutive stupid posts in a row. That'll slow things down here in a hurry.

After i type my reply, i change the font face, the font size, and sometimes the color. By then i have taken enough time that i don't have a problem.

I copy and paste. However I think this is more of a problem for those of us who learned how to type. People who have to look at the keys type too slowly to get this. If you type 80wpm you will get it frequently. I can see not being allowed to enter multiple posts on a single thread back to back but not on different ones.

Some people walk miles with a bucket on their head just to have fresh water. Hitting refresh, typing and/or waiting doesn't seem that bad by comparison really. :)

Without some flood control timer, automated forum spambots can have an annoying tendency to make forums move just a bit faster than you might want…

Agrees with Hellion's light. I type very fast (thus the typos) and its sooooooo annoying when I can't post.
