Google it), conservatives, who will swear on a stack of Republican Bibles, engage in some of the most vile racism outside of a Ron Paul newsletter.

littlegreenfootballs.com has posted a partial list of the comments regarding the murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. You’ll recall that Trayvon, armed with Skittles and a bottle of iced tea, was stalked by George Zimmerman and shot for the crime of walking while black. Three weeks on and Zimmerman has yet to be arrested. The Department of Justice and the FBI have announced that they will be investigating this…oversight as a hate crime. Apparently this has outraged the Fox News commentator community."

Anybody that hasn't seen that most of the right is clearly racist...has their eyes closed.

Based upon what I've seen of most of the right lately......well let's just say those I know personally, can, if they are still deluding themselves, say all they want, but their words otherwise, speak volumes.

But yanno, I am beginning to think the current climate is a good thing. I believe that our president struck a nerve and brought a lot of societal puss to the service, in this regard. I would rather it be out in the open in full stank, than hidden.

No question this is true, but I would add a caveat that if you look at the people who bother commenting on internet articles, there are plenty of ignorant comments from the left as well. That being said the Republican Party expoits this ingorance to a far more dangerous extent than the Democratic party through their media arm at FOX, the 'Tea Party' and Southern strategy.

This is no shock to me.

The appalling part is the fact that these type of comments had to have stayed online for quite a while in order for someone to be able to capture and report on it.
