I might be a fuddy duddy, because I wouldn't want a porn start at my child, or grandchilds, prom.

It would bring publicity that no school district needs also, imho only, of course.

Personally, as long as she's not doing anything to do with her job at the prom, who cares if she attends with the guy. They are both 18 or older and I think it's great that she decided to do something so cool for a boy who obviously got the cold shoulder from girls at his school.

I think being able to take that girl to prom would be awesome justice for him and neat for her since she didn't go to her own prom. I don't see anything wrong with it. The school just wants to be a pain in the neck. They let people take dates who are in the military and in all sorts of professions. This isn't any different.

I remember how proud I was to take an army soldier to my prom as a date two years in a row. :)

I'm sure it doesn't occur to you that while they are both over 18, that isn't the case for every student attending.

The school is right in their decision.  It also never occurs to anyone that this chick isn't accepting because she thinks the kid is so cool, but because she wants to relive her high school years, which she chose to miss.

If you can't see a huge difference between someone in the military and someone who is a porn star, then you have some serious issues of your own to work out.

Why does it matter that for a profession she does porn in her private life? Should porn stars be banned from establishments that underage kids could be present even in appropriate attire simply because their day job is lewd? It's not like she was planning on giving the entire school a taste of her work was she?

I think it's rather sweet she said yes! And even if other kids attending the prom aren't 18, it's silly of the authorities to try and pretend that their students don't know what porn is and don't have access to it. They're probably just jealous of little duder. ;)
