http://www.livestrong.com/article/99796-side-effects-men-taking-female/

Here you go.  I got you a link that lists most of the bad things that can happen when men use female birth control pills.  The list goes from depression, to blood clots, to breaking bones due to bone density loss.  You may lose your ability to have erections.  Your testes will shrink.  You may lose all interest in sex and go through menopausal hot flashes to name a few.

By the way, just because it is legal to get birth control pills from the clinic if you are female does not mean it is legal to get birth control pills from the clinic if you are using them for kink purposes only.  When men wish to become women they go through psychological testing.  Then if they pass those tests a doctor will prescribe the right dose of hormones for them.  The doctor will check the man frequently and make sure he is not suffering the many complications that the medications can cause.

Make sure you know what you are doing before allowing someone who is not a doctor to mess with your system.  YOU are responsible for YOUR own safety.  Just because something 'sounds' kinky does not mean it will be kinky once you try it.  Think before you do.  Think about how this may impact your employment.  Think about how this might impact your family.  Make sure this is the right choice for you.  Do it only under doctor supervision.

Thank you for your reply with this. Also I understand that there will always be risks with things like this & am willing to take some risks if there are also chances of desirable changes. Then again look at most of the risks & side effects of most medications some of which are better off not taken after you weight out the risks to your health. I will make sure Master gets this link & information & will respect his decision on it.

I think in the near future when I have a question I will ask someone who has experience in the question i need answered instead of openly posting my questions on the forums since people are always going to have something negative to say.

You asked for information.

People who had knowledge and/or experience shared information with you.

That you perceive the generosity of strangers who provided you with exactly what you asked for to be "negative" is baffling.
How sad for you that you do not recognise generosity when it is given.

Let me clue you in on a little secret...

Most men who are willing to help out on a MtF transformation are arseholes.

They want an object, not a person. They don't give a fuck about you. You are an "it". Not worthy of a personality.

Go legit...seek PROFESSIONAL help with people who has experience dealing with gender identity disorders. They will get you to the right people for the scripts.

You have to see the pros for at least a year to 18 months, adjusting to your new life. Meanwhile, kiss your family, friends, social life good-bye.

I had a friend just make the legal paperwork changeover. Her family has shunned her. I am probably the only 'straight' friend she has left and that is because I understand how she is and I accept her as a female, not as a former male.

Telling a bunch of WOMEN who had some bad dealings with birth control to fuck off is not kosher. Hell, we almost lost one to blood clots in her lungs because of birth control and there is that class action lawsuit against Yaz and Yasmin. Personally, if I had birth control, I would use it on my plants.

To the people who are just trying to reply with helpful information & concern I thank you. To the people clearly trying to be rude, FUCK YOU! I ask a question to get good feedback being I don't know much about this not to get negative feed back from the random assholes who have nothing better to do then talk shit & start drama. As I said it was a question & no I don't know squat about it which was the point of asking in hopes someone else would know more about it. To the person saying its illegal actually no it isnt you can get them free from any health clinic though obviously they are given to wiomen to cut down on unwanted pregnancy.

Again thank you very much for the positive feed back from the obvious concerned people, to the rest of drop dead...

I'm going to give you a serious response here--what you are proposing is extremely dangerous to your health.

1. The hormones from birth control are different from those in hormonal therapy for GID (Gender Identity Disorder). Different dose levels and different delivery methods. They are not interchangeable.

2. Taking a medication for a purpose other than it's medical intention is actual considered a form of abuse. And it's illegal.

3. Before starting any hormonal regiment,, you should get a full and thorough medical screening, which includes a full set of bloodwork and labs to check everything, including but not limited to cholesterol, liver function, RBC count, blood sugar etc.

4. There is a reason why there is a methodical process to place a patient on hormones--and it includes screening for contraindications--physical and emotional.

5. Taking estrogen can place you at risk for blood clots, stroke, liver complications and other health problems.

Gender transition is NOT a do-it-yourself project. It should be done under the direction and supervision of licensed, skilled healthcare professionals. It is not, and should not be, forced in any way. The decision to transition is never one that anyone should take lightly, nor do for someone else's kink. It is a long, expensive and lifelong process that can have serious emotional and physical effects on the body.

DO NOT TAKE BIRTH CONTROL PILLS. You place yourself at serious risk.

Sadly, I doubt your knowledge and advice will make any impact on the OP.

"Forced Feminization" is NOT the same as "Gender Identity Disorder," I know you know that.

Someone who is so caught up in their fetish that they are going to risk life and limb shouldn't even be participating in BDSM in my opinion, because they obviously are suffering from problems that need professional help.

This does NOT include those who are into forced feminization where they are made to appear "feminine" or partake in feminine activities.

Absolutely nothing in the OP's profile indicates he is even remotely suffering from GID and frankly, it is things like this that make those who are dealing with GID have a difficult time, because GID is not a fetish.

I'm transgendered and have many friends--men and women--who have transitioned. (and I work in healhcare) I know what I'm talking about.

If your master tells you to go drink rat poison, would you do that too?

Stop throwing a temper tantrum like a child--- you don't need hormones--you need to get some professional help.

Which is exactly the issue. You don't give a f*ck if somebody wants to put every aspect of your life and health in jeopardy. You've got way bigger problems than sub frenzy going here, buddy.

Just about everyone knows you can go online and buy birth control pills without a prescription. These sites don't give a rat's pud who's going to take them as long as the credit card goes through. They might be placebos; they might be something completely different than advertised; they might be expired; they might be what they say they are; some packs in an order may be real and some not. And I bet that's where you'll end up getting them...he'll probably make you pay for them yourself.

There you go. You and 'Master' go knock yourselves out. Report back in a year and let's see how it's going.

Nothing like a dumb*ss; in this case two. All hail Darwin.

Which brings up an interesting point. All previous answers have strictly been from a medical point of view. However, there IS a legal aspect as well. In hausboy's rat poison example, that would be a legally assisted suicide. By making someone take estrogen, it MIGHT (I am not a lawyer) be considered assisted suicide as well. OP, should you and your Master choose this path, he might want to start calling lawyers already to determine his potential criminal liability.

And even if the result isn't death, what happens if the OP rolls out of bed 1 day and decides he no longer wants breasts? Or the raging hormonal fluctuations that can come with synthetic hormones? As much as I'd prefer to side with "lesson learned" there are a lot of potentially detrimental psycological side effects.

Or what if after taking the hormones to the desired effect, the master decides he doesn't want you anymore.

Then you are stuck with tits and emotional aftermath of being on hormones.

Birth control over the years has totally messed up my body. And I'm a born female. If it has messed up so many women's hormones I can't imagine what it would do to a man. If I could go back in time to when I was 16, I would tell myself not to get the Norplant put in my arm. I would also tell myself to wait on sex. I almost totally ruined my chances of ever having trouble. The medical issues I have gone through as a result of my hormones being out of balance has been staggering. It has affected my ability to keep a job, my performance in college, my relationships, my mental health. All because of my hormones being out of whack!

I don't know if my hormones will ever be put right again and I regret every day that I made those choices that ended up sending me down this path.

I would suggest that birth control is not fully responsible for all of that.  I would also suggest that you have your thyroid levels checked.  A wonky thyroid will cause all you describe and quite a bit more.

Agreed; if your hormones are that dysfunctional then I recommend seeing an endocrinologist.

I have had my thyroid checked many times over the years and it is fine. I have a hormonal imbalance. And yes, the birth control is what started it. The doctors have said that the Norplant is what caused my problems to start in the first place.

Oh I can answer that one--he'll have to pay about $8000 to $10K in cash to get them removed and have his old chest reconstructed, if he's lucky, he won't have two giant scars across his chest and his nipples reconstructed.

I'm probably just echoing a lot of others; I didn't read the thread fully. As someone that intends to eventually go on HRT and is presently partially negating my testosterone, I still have to say you shouldn't be doing it. It would be for all the wrong reasons. You shouldn't be taking estrogen on someone else's whim. It's also not just about estrogen if you don't know what you're doing you'll likely not take the 2 or 3 drugs in the right dosages. There's a few potentially fatal side effects that need to be monitored for, and many inconvenient ones. I've known a TV that started it and then stopped because they couldn't handle it, and she was much more motivated than you to go through with it. It's going to wreck you mentally if you're doing it for the experience or to fulfill someone else's whim rather than the results. You should stay far away from anyone that would give you hormones when you're not mentally a TG.

Just so you know, most primary physicians do not order all the right tests and are basing it on outdated levels.  Not only that, but an endocrinologist would be able to work towards resolving the problem.

Yes, I'm bitchy tonight, but it seems you would rather bitch about birth control causing all of your problems (which is not impossible, but also not likely) than look into having a specialist try to fix the problem.  So like the OP, carry on.  If things continue to suck or get worse, it's your life.
