Congratulations, glidewynd!
Your IQ score is 138 [image]http://i.emode.com/tests/uiq/images/philosopher2_s.gif[/image]
This number is based on a scientific formula that compares how many questions you answered correctly on the Classic IQ Test relative to others.

Your Intellectual Type is Visionary Philosopher. This means you are highly intelligent and have a powerful mix of skills and insight that can be applied in a variety of different ways. Like Plato, your exceptional math and verbal skills make you very adept at explaining things to others — and at anticipating and predicting patterns. And that's just some of what we know about you from your IQ results.

Well, it's true.  That test isn't complex enough to produce a very high ceiling.  But I'm not going to write a long disquisition about I.Q. tests.

I partially agree. I took a similar test about three months ago with double the questions when I was trying to place in a certain math class at our local community college. I scored 136. So that would tell me that this test is at least partially accurate.

But here's my real question :  In this test, there was a question which goes something { Not sure exactly} like this : If the are two cars at the same starting point and both drive six miles in the opposite direction, and then both make left turns and drive four miles. How many miles apart will they be?

Ok.... to solve that question, the person taking the test has to at least understand the fundamentals of geometry { My take} -   But what if they're super smart and just haven't studied the fundamentals in order to answer that question?  Same thing with some of the questions where the language comes into play.  If you ask me.... I think a better test would have twice the spatial type questions.
