Can someone confirm that (1) Sonner is in fact an attorney, and (2) that Zimmerman has in fact retained him?

I think he was retained before they even met.. that is what i read, at any rate.. Zimmerman must be getting a discount on his legal costs or something.. who hires a lawyer without meeting the guy first?? especially for a possible murder charge??

There was a story yesterday on CNN, with quotes from this guy, who said "stand your ground" likely didn't apply. Okay, that makes sense. He then went on to explain this was simply Self Defense, but admitted that he hadn't talked to Zimmerman about what happened that night. Wow! He's already claiming a position about something that he admits he knows nothing about! Amazing.

Yep. Tells me he is most likely offering his legal services pro bono in exchange for the national recognition. This guy is slime.
