This may belong in the apparel section, but I just thought it would get more attention here.

This is a question for only for Dommes who are into fetish. Preferrably the ones who are obsessed with it. I am shopping for a new outfit. I am curious, what is your favorite fetish attire to see a sub in at a public event? Please note not necessarily an outfit you would play in, but something more worn to a public venue. I am looking for feedback for anything from a certain piece, to a certain style, to a whole outfit.
I think I already know the style I want for my next outfit, but I am just curious. Any feedback is appreciated.

I could be wrong here, but I think you're going to find that 'true' fetish is more likely to come from your side -- I have the feeling there are not too many women with real fetish for certain types of dress.

I have things I love and things I love to see my darling boi in... but I have no interest in someone else's idea of fetish or some kind of display outfit.. if anyone should be dressed for display.. its ME!

beyond that, I'd prefer my boi complement me and be comfortable, neat.. and hot.. but she's always hot

FWIW, I agree 100%, every word you just said. However, I am not with anyone at the moment. I do know there are some Dommes who have opinions on this.

"Opinions" sure...but you said you were looking for Dommes with fetishes, to which Madame4a correctly pointed out that the vast majority of women do not have fetishes (in the strict dictionary definition of the term). Lots of women will have preferences as to what they like to see people wearing, but I'm not sure that describing it as a "fetish" is the right way to go. Personally, when it comes to fet wear I like chest harnesses with cute undies, leather pants, uniforms and chaps. Lots of the elaborate pieces or costumes I'll find impressive, but rarely are they a turn on.

I rarely go to any public events, but I do have desires sometimes for a reason (celebration, "execution," punishment day, or, hell, just "saturday") to have a man in fetishy type clothing.

I've found that like most of my fetishes, I don't have a general "desire" all the time, but get focused on something I want to enact then spend days, weeks or months fantasizing about it. It's been everything from the simplicity of a skin tight latex type brief to a wet suit to leather straitjacket, just whatever seems to be dominating my thoughts.

And thats just what THAT costume is for maybe the erotic ball or a costume perade but its nothing I want to deal with on a day to day basis which is why your messeging me didnt go far

I wouldn't consider it a fetish, but it's close, I ADORE cos-play especially when it comes to kink. Comes from my LARP roots I suspect.
The entire latex suit is always a favorite, zipped and belted to the nines so that not an inch of skin is permitted, but that can get very uncomfortable very fast. For kink friendly affairs, masks, gloves, and as much leather or latex as can be worn comfortably for the duration, again the idea of keeping the body covered and restricted. Masks and gloves in any outfit really just because no one ever wears them around me so I find them different and appealing.

For non-kinky affairs... that varies a lot depending on the particular setting or occasion. Usually something sharp and modern, but less than common place.

The full horse costume gets a big thumbs up.

When you ask for advice on a public forum you can't decide what people are allowed to write. How about you take what you dont like with a pinch of salt. Any negativity you spew out is reflecting poorly only on you, and will make other potential posters hostile and less cooperative.

As for me, I dont really have a fetish for items, but the emotions around them. I prefer to feel lycra or pvc against my skin, and I prefer to see and smell leather on my partner when we visit fetish events.

FYI, normish, you aren't going to get many positive responses to your questions, if youcontinue to write leading questions that are clearly all about you. Many will just roll their eyes and move on. It implies that if you have *legitimate* questions and concerns, you are seeking thoughts and opinions that inform you, and you will take all into consideration, not just the ones that appear to agree with you and feed your kink, in your quest for enrichment.

It is not the "Ask a Mistress a Leading Question That Displays Your Kink, Expecting Respondants to Feed Your PrOn Fantasies" Forum. There are guidelines, kindly provided at the very first page of this forum, for all to follow. There are FAQs, especially for subs to read and apply. If they don't adhere to the guidelines, or even attempt a passing glimpse at them, the Ladies here are going to call them on it. Oddly enough (ironic statement alert!) female subs are rarely, if ever, the violators of common decorum. There are a few regular sub male posters from whom you could learn a great deal, if you'd just get out of your own arse and pay attention. There are even a few Dominant males who post intelligent and beneficial responses from whom you could learn decorum, at least.

But, it's obviously all about you. So, clearly, I'm just wasting my energy, with you. I felt this had to be said, anyway.

I don't mean to start trouble, but I must say that the portion that I bolded left me feeling a bit uncomfortable. IMO, interactions between two individuals on the other side should remain between those individuals. They're private communications. So it seems unfair to come into a public forum and announce what/how someone wrote to you in private.

I've seen entire threads written about bad messaging practices on the other side. But the threads are usually careful to not identify who the offending parties are. So specifically naming Norm as the offending party and publicly announcing what he did just seems to be bad form to me. It may not be a grievous crime, or even a violation of the TOS. But it's definitely bad form.

Please don't view this as a personal attack. You know that I have nothing against you. But I'm just thinking about how I would feel if someone came to the forum and shared a private communication that I had sent them on the other side.

BTW, if the shoe had been reversed, I would be writing to Norm on your behalf.

Edit: I just saw QueenRah's comment. IMO, that's also bad form. And she knows that this is not a personal attack. I like QueenRah. But I don't want her telling everyone about all of the dick pics that I send her on the other side.

Actually, I thought the profile was funny. lol

To answer the question.....I guess I don't always like a sub in fetishy stuff. If I had a sub at this moment in time, I would like to have him either wear a nice shirt and pants and some yummy-smelling stuff or....something leather or....a leather collar and leash....and always some kind of yummy-smelling stuff.

But I have to say here that another Domme I know has a sub who's a total & absolute fashion plate.
