Very pretty! They must like where they're planted...rich soil I guess. Ok, I need to go out and buy flowers today or tomorrow. That made me want to see the beautiful flowers outside my window even more.

When I had a house and garden, I kept several different species of Iris and they do come in different height. I got out the tape measure, and 4' does seem tall, although within the norm for bearded iris. http://www.ag.ndsu.edu/pubs/plantsci/landscap/h113w.htm My plants over the septic system did really well ;)
