Arturas -> Just Who is this Supreme Court anyway? (3/28/2012 11:09:17 AM)

Maybe those not living on our shores are not aware of what the Supreme Court is and how they could get the Most Reverend Al Sharpton in such a tither. The U.S. Governement is composed of three branches. The Executive (the Presidency), The Legislative (the Congress , two houses), The Judiciary (The Supreme Court). Neither branch is more powerful than the other. Each have different powers and roles. The Founding Fathers who wrote the Constitution, the basis for all law in this Land, set this up so each serves as a "control" on the others so that no single branch or even two branches in concert, could take over the Government. What you see today is a case where two branches of the U.S. Government, the Executive and two Democratically controlled houses of Congress, worked together to impose an illegal dictate on each American Citizen for their own political agenda. What is great about our system of Government is that it worked: It is clear to all that The Supreme Court will block this Un-constitutional law, this command, this "mandate" that in the words of one Justice "would forever change the relationship between the private citizen and the Governmment"; remember Obama's promise to "Change America"? Well, apparently he meant to try and void the Constitution to make such changes but the founding fathers stopped his effort with their wisdom and Our Constitution. I say "thank you" to the Founding Fathers and to the Supreme Court, the branch of Government who today stood for us and Our Constitution with the power to restore our Freedom to us. this morning the air smelled sweeter in America, sweet with restored freedom, restored rights, sweet with the restored Government of the People and for the People.
