Although, I may not choose an abortion for myself, I do believe in family planning. You don't want to have one baby after another that you can't afford to take care of or tire out your poor body. I had two children 8 months apart (my 2nd was very preemie) and my body was so exhausted. And my baby suffered at the beginning of her life due to our carelessness in getting pregnant again so soon. I believe that we can do 100 percent full proof family planning through abstinence but not everyone has that sort of self control. I know I certainly don't most of the time. We were on birth control when I got pregnant both times, but at least we did take some steps to prevent pregnancy. If I do have sex and get pregnant I would never have an abortion, I would find a way to take care of the life that I have been given. But, the point is there are so many different ways of doing family planning and so many methods of birth control, and why limit us to just one method. Again, people try to "force" us to be robots and all choose the same thing. We have free will for a reason. Choose what method of family planning works best for you and your own belief system. But, in the end, family planning is an important and definitely needed part of life. I think that making people jump through hoops to follow their own belief system in regards to family planning is not giving people freedom of religion. They just keep taking away more and more freedoms. I wanted to add this : I am so glad they struck down this law in Oklahoma.
