I did think about this.
You could put the inflatable ball inside a Zorb ball (also known as the human hamster ball)

Though to me honest I'm not sure I would go for the all fours stance unless it was up on the feet and the hands (like a cat crawl postion) I think if the knees werent bent it would give more surface space for touch (and other things) I also think that all fours being hands and feet would make the person feel for a longer time as if they were try to hold themself up. Then when they feel as if they can no long do it and give, expecting to bend, they would find themself trapped in that still same postion.

Status: offline 		The motorized part could be accomplished with a low speed high torque motor. Not hard to get actually.Some other hardware from the local store and there you go,instant auto-spin.

Status: offline 		There was a contest for vacbed stories at Gromet's Plaza about three or four years ago. (I didn't win, but the story is still there in the general index, took a while to find it because the contest links are broken.) Up until then, vacbeds had been mostly simple flat frames, but lots of people wrote up other shapes. To their credit, the Kink Engineering folks went to town on some of those ideas, and followed through with a few new products.

As a general concept, when evacuated, multiple latex sheets will try to arrange themselves around the frame and object, in a way that looks like the inside of a cluster of soap bubbles. When inflated, they'll try to stretch to look like the outside of bubble cluster on the frame or object.

It certainly does provide some basis for imagination ...
