You'd think gun manufacturers would be happiest when a Republican was in power, but you'd be wrong. Nothing spurs gun sales like the threat of a democrat with a liberal agenda. It doesn't matter if that democrat has heretofore done nothing to limit gun ownership... it's what they could do, not what they do do that you have to worry about.

Colbert illustrated this point perfectly with his fierce take down of Obama's non-existent gun-control conspiracy. Apparently, gun manufacturers can't keep up with the demand created by the latest round of second amendment fears.

As the "Report" host so artfully put it, "Yes, the fear of not being able to buy guns has led to buying so many guns that now we can't buy any guns, just like we feared."

Check out the full clip above and let us know what other things Obama hasn't done in his first term that you're sure he'll do in his second.
