Toppingfrmbottom -> looking for short hair cut idea's (4/2/2012 4:14:23 PM)

my hair ususally reaches my tail bone, an i am thinking about cutting it super short, like a pixi cut or something but i am nervous, because i love my long hair, love playing with it love how ilook with long hair, but it will grow back, so i am battling a war in my mind keep it long or do it short. in the hottest months of summer short hair would be nice.

I am not, however thinking anything so short as a mans hair cut, or little hair at all.

I have a pretty round face, so i'd need the hair cut to flatter that an not make me look fatter or dorkier than i am.

I think this cut is cute and maybe might work i dunno.

I'd be willing to consider this one

well the pics you gave aren't pixie cuts. They are however, nice cuts. In the past my hair was always short but Master likes long hair so that's what I keep. Below is the short pixie cut I always had in the past that always looked cute on me and everyone liked it.

LittleWonder, the ladies at super cuts said i shouldn't have it any shorter than my collar bone, because it'd make my face look rounder and wider than it is. I am thinking i could do super short in the back if i wish, and then longer at my face.

Just go with what makes you happy :)

Toppingfrmbottom -> RE: looking for short hair cut idea's (4/3/2012 8:57:50 AM)

I still wannalook good too. I wouldn't be very happyif I got it so short I looked 10 times fatter or something equally unflattering.

There are short cuts that do work well with around face. In fact, those bob styles you linked are rather bad for your face shape.

Look at this info, than click on the suggested "right" short style and look at the 5 options they recommend. Personally, I like the first one.

This looks cool, too. Or this .

Try something like this to help you decide.

I just put mine up either in a ponytail or French braid. I leave bangs down to soften my face.

French braiding is like a normal braid or plait but you gather in more hair as you go along.

You could also "tape" your hair. A style from 16th century Italy that can be kept for some days. Just google "hair taping" there are a bunch of tutorials out there.

FYI for your image that didn't work - the URL has to end with an image type such as jpg/gif/png. Often, images from the internet will have strings after the image type which need to be deleted for the image to display on collarchat's system.

Additionally, there can only be one URL - yours had a few strings.

mine? I didn't intend it to be a image link, i intended it to be a link you follow. :)

Nope, calamitysandra's. I started composing my response before she deleted it.

CalmaitySandra, the one site you have to pay to use their photo hair tryer oner thingie, almost 15 dollars for 12 months, upgraded frm 3, but i don't think that's a very bad price at all, considering the price of a hair cut you don't like.

calamitysandra -> RE: looking for short hair cut idea's (4/4/2012 6:33:27 AM)

Thanks Kalikshama, I lacked the patience to figure it out yesterday.

The picture was of Halle Berrys cut, btw, I think it works quite well with a round face shape.

I did not see that it was a pay site TfB, sorry. But I am sure there are free ones out there.

GRRR Why are almost all the hair cuts side swept bangs, I know personally id hate the feeling of hair on my 4 head an slightly dipping into my eyes, but for every say 5=6 hair cuts that aren't that style there's 10 that are, and all the short hair cuts, i could live with require styling, i am a wash and go kinda girl, i don't want to fuck with styling an blow drying and gels an shit like that, i want to, as the term says, wash put it up, leave it down, what ever i choose an go! I am extremely discouraged in finding a short hair style that's cute and don't require 20 plus minutes if styling, I am a wash an go girl, I know that i wouldn't put in any of the time styling it the hair cuts require to look cute no matter how short an amount of time it takes, be it 10 or 20 or 30..

littlewonder -> RE: looking for short hair cut idea's (4/4/2012 2:58:01 PM)

well unless you want a boy's haircut, short haircuts take styling most times from my experience. When I had short hair it took me much longer to care for than now with my longer hair. Now I can just pull it back if I don't feel like doing anything with it for the day or I' m in a rush. I couldn't do that with short hair unless I wanted to look like a boy or a complete dork when I went out.

TNDommeK -> RE: looking for short hair cut idea's (4/4/2012 7:32:54 PM)

I had long hair like yours and cut it, I cried. Lol. It grew back, and is still growing. But I agree with what makes you happy. And I have only seen your avatar pic, but I would say that you shouldn't do a pixie cut. You need the front slithered (or layered) into your face. Just a suggestion, but I think you would like the results.

Toppingfrmbottom -> RE: looking for short hair cut idea's (4/4/2012 10:15:12 PM)

ok, my picture should be a virtual hair cut i took a picture of, and i'll upload more of my choices.

soul2share -> RE: looking for short hair cut idea's (4/5/2012 12:27:26 AM)

Yes, the bangs have to go....I can't stand looking at the world thru a fringe, and don't know how anyone with those sideswept bangs do it. I trim my bangs as soon as they hit my browline.....I hate fringe front and back.

And the style you have on your avatar will take some work to get it to lay like that....at least blowdrying it on a round brush, even my stick stright hair wouldn't hang right when I had a similiar style. The only wash and wear you're going to find is a pixie, and even then, your hair has to be stick straight like mine or you'll have to play with that.

calamitysandra -> RE: looking for short hair cut idea's (4/5/2012 5:55:16 AM)

I would advise against both, the one you use as an avatar right now, and the second one in your profile. Both frame your face in a way that calls attention too, and exacerbate the roundness.

Toppingfrmbottom -> RE: looking for short hair cut idea's (4/5/2012 9:17:16 AM)

I hate bangs in my eyes do any cut with bangs over the eye. Would need the bangs cut shorter than in my eyes. When my heir is short it gets wavey and curly.
