I was talking about this subject the other day with a friend who runs a discussion group on another fetish site.

The topic of spotting fake profiles came up. We amused ourselves for a few minutes swapping notes back and forth . Here are some of our observations:

- A person claims they're five foot eleven inches tall ... but only weigh 50 lbs ...hmm ... oops forgot about that silly mertic system conversion.

- A picture of some very fair skinned woman with her describing herself as "Native Amercian." I guess the scammers don't realize Native American doesn't mean actually mean a "citizen" of the United States.

I thought it would be interesting to get anybody else's take on how they spot fake profiles ... other than sending $1500 to a supposed sub or Domme and realizing later on the person may have been a fake.

Surprisingly I didn't find an earlier thread specifically addressing this topic.

I'm actually 6' 3", 197 lbs (all muscle by the way...actually...I'm rippling as we speak), 53 (but most people tell me I don't look a day over 52, 10 months, 3 weeks, 5 days....it's the water)....and I have all my hair.

(And 97% of my teeth...if you do the math.....it's the front ones).

So....there you go.

When I spot a fake, I most often choose to put the spot on the tip of their nose; I prefer red paint for this. Infrequently I will spot a fake using an aquamarine color; in these rare cases I put the spot of paint on their left ear lobe. There was, however, one such fake who did not have a left ear lobe. Someone had removed it! That posed a problem, for where to put the spot of blue paint with that left ear lobe missing? I solved the problem by acquiring a plastic surgeon who cut off the right ear lobe and sew it onto the right ear; once the transplant had taken, I did spot the lobe.

Golly, this has been done to death here. I put 'fakes' into the search box and got 15 pages of results.
