The only way to argue that as many people listen to Al as listen to Rush is to count conservatives among Al's followers. How many people listen to Rush? Doesn't he claim like 40 million? I'm sure that is high, but still... Meanwhile what I was trying to point out regarding Sharpton is that I am only aware of him because from time to time Conservatives complain about something he did. Now if you are saying you had never heard of Rush from a fellow conservative, and only became aware of him because of a liberal complaint, then you can certainly argue equivalency. Of course, if that were the case, I doubt Steele would have had to apologize to Rush...
