I disagree with the notion that he's setting her up for punishment. Let's be honest, mistakes are going to happen on both sides. It might sound rosy and perfect in a fantasy setting; the reality is that there will be a time when one of them will screw up. It's a normal part of a relationship, especially when first starting out. Asking for advice on punishment ideas is a reasonable request. It might seem like he's setting her up to fail, but it only seems that way. I have personally set my girls up to fail on occasion, for the purpose of showing them they cannot do everything perfectly all the time, and that they have limits for a reason and should be respected. It isn't about doing it to be cruel or expecting a bottom to fail just so you can smack them around. That would be abusive and not really healthy in my opinion. It wouldn't hurt for him to do some reading, there are plenty of books that would be a benefit to the both of them exploring things especially in a new relationship. There is a list of books in the FAQ section that has a lot of valuable information you can take in that has ideas for punishment, funishment, and (most importantly in my opinion) communication. Rather than harping on every tom, dick, and jane that comes asking for advice about something, how about we *gasp* try not thinking the absolute worst scenario every time someone asks a question. Just sayin'. [:-]

Often in these newbie "Yo, internet strangers, how do I manage my relationship" threads by self proclaimed Masters I censor my thoughts and try to be helpful and as such I have bookmarked the BDSM booklist thread.

When I see responses like this I realize my initial impression was correct but will continue to be helpful in the hopes that I do reach someone, albeit not the OP.

I think the kid who is the op should apply the same punishment his mother does to him. Go clean your room. And I'd suggest grounding but not being allowed to see the op would be a reward, not punishment based on his rudeness.

Here's the issue I have with your question....

It's a bit like someone rocking up on a car enthusiasts forum and saying "Hey guys, I've just bought a corvette! Can anyone tell me how to drive a car"

Does she know you're having to ask this kind of question?

So... what exactly is it that you want to punish her for?

I mean, if you're training a slave and she doesn't understand your wants / needs.... do you think you should be punishing her, or should you be taking responsibility for your own failure to lead?

Say to her, "Tell me five things you don't like." After she does that, choose one or two you don't like either, and use those. Then if she does something wrong and you punish her, you are punishing yourself as well. That way you are both trying to make sure she does everything right.

Pack up your toys and go home, little boy. You aren't ready to play with the big kids yet until you can master your own emotional outbursts.

Punishment ideas are USELESS until you actually have someone to punish for SOMETHING. And judging by how you conduct yourself in public, you are an extremely untrustworthy boy who doesn't deserve the title of "Master" because you haven't even mastered yourself.

You're right, we don't know you. And frankly I doubt anyone here wants to. All we have is your words on a screen, and they don't put you in a favorable light.
