Then he apologized to the folks trying to save his life after the crash. I'm also proud of the guys who pulled the pilot and co-pilot to safety and tended their wounds, and of course of the EMS folks who quickly arrived on scene and took care of everyone. At least if you have to see an "if it bleeds, it leads," story, it can be one about a lot of folks being heroes, and/or doing the right thing...
