do they typically wash and dry your hair first, or do you do it at home an they just ask you have you washed it?

I don't want my hair washed twice in 1 day, so if they're going to do it that's fine, but if i am to do it, that's fine too. I just want to know.

It's easter so the Salon is closed, or i'd be asking them. And no it never occurred to me to ask when i went in last week to do a hair consult and they mentioned the cut would be free if i donated the hair..

I used to let the salon wash mine. They have to wet it down anyway.

Locks Of Love is not a great organization, you may want to spend a few minutes Googling because chances are your hair will be thrown away and not used. If it is accepted chances are that they will sell it for money, not turn it into a wig that it then donated to a child.

Camille, I'm just donating it so my cut will be free.

Oh! Okies. And I liked the first cut you had as your avatar but I think you said you hate having hair hanging in your face, and that style would definitely do that.

If the stylists any good, I've been told that they could rework it so to speak so it won't be flopping in my eyes so bad.

It needs to be dry and in a ponytail or braid.
The salon can braid it or put it in a ponytail.
You need to have hair that is at least to inches cut off.

anjelika, they cut off just over 2 feet of hair.
