In Minnesota, the Republican Party is unable to pay the rent for their headquarters. They are $1,232,341.50 in debt according to Politico.

The GOP’s Secretary Treasurer (since Republicans like to make analogies to running our government like we run our families, this would be the person in your home who writes the checks and balances the checkbook) wrote in a report first obtained by Politico,

“… we continue to be in a precarious working capital position. Consequently, please note that we are not paying our office lease rent payment currently (but have been in discussions with our landlord) and have not yet negotiated long-term payment schedules and/or negotiated settlements relating to most of the vendors on the accounts payable aging (see accompanying financial statements and schedules for summary accounts payable aging reports as of February 29 and January 31, 2012).”

Reminds me of when TN was having a referrendum on whether t have a lottery.
When all was said and done, the minister who was running the anti-lottery campaign left behind over $300,000 in unpaid bills.

Why haven't they paid their bills? They must be loser, free loaders.

They want freebies. Let others pay for their lifestyle.

Time for a bail out. Elephants are big, right? That qualifies for too big to fail, surely.

Isn't trickle down economics where you give tax breaks to the rich, they use it to buy champagne, then they piss on the poor, and Republicans tell the poor that it is raining beer?

Not hardly. I'm an occupier and my bills are paid in a timely manner. My county gives an option of 3 due dates on property taxes and I have always paid the least--getting it paid within a month after receiving the bill. How many people can say that?

Given how the GOP have behaved towards my fellow Americans in a similar situation (that is, to mock, laugh, and make it harder to go banktrupt) in the last three or four years, I'd have to say I don't have alot of compassion or sympathy for their current situation. You know what it is gang? KARMA! And they are heavily in debt!
