I think that, as a public service, someone should create several fake identities (yes, believe it or not I'm told that this is possible), and load them up with all the features that will attract the trolls.  Sort of working on the idea that it'll keep them busy and away from the real people.

Anyone else had this or something like it happen to them?

No cuz I don't bother responding to someone if it's obvious they haven't even read my profile but somehow want to get to know me.

But yes it's quite common for newbies to latch onto the first one who will have them and close down all other correspondences.

Course it's rare that that "relationship" lasts more than a few days either.

I remember the first time some lady I met offered to fly on over from texas so that I could try her out and see if she was "worthy". This was before you could put a "friends only" marker on your profile, and I was a little taken aback at the speed with which she made the offer, since I had only sent her one friendly Email. She disappeared about five messages later, having apparantly found something better to do with her time.

Luckily, for the most part, I don't (usually) get blind emails - being male, a switch, and bisexual apparantly confuses most of the trolls - and since I DO read profiles, most of the contacts I have made are favorable, but every so often I get one like that.

Ah, well. I guess that means I can only share my time and attentions with my lovely, female, switch, bisexual wife. Like calls to like, after all.

I'm glad you found your soulmate, good stories give the rest hope [;)]

jees honestly I think he is playing games I would bet he didnt even have a Mistress
I doubt he is a sub but he is just looking for attention. just ignore him.

Funny you should say that enigma....I came back to the thread today for an update....now I know this will be a shocker....

Remember the so called friend?  Well he felt the need to email me today to tell me that (gasp) his "friend" just wasn't happy with his new mistress ( and went into some detail as to why)  and he just didn't think he'd be with her much longer, and he wanted to keep my updated...(major eye roll)....LOL

I sent him a message saying that there was really no need to contact me any longer, that is was really none of my business

good lord...do these trolls really think we are this stupid?....LOL

LOL...kinda sorry to hear that Wulf....hey, do we get secret decoder rings in this club?....LOL

Don't worry Darlin, I think I have a good share of the fem losers so you don't have to shoulder all the burden.

Or the what I call "Pissing On The Tree" aspect.

Though I dont' see that with female Dommes as much as male Dominants.  You know the one's that make you put "Under consideration to God Lord Saint Leatherflogger Master Number One"

But I guess the subs get find ways to get their rocks off too.

LOL...omg Dark....I've seen those...even had one put that on his profile about me once...I told him to take that crap off...it was no ones business, but the major reason is I hadn't said I'd even consider him, he'd only sent one freakin' email....LOL

TxBlkMistress -> RE: Is this a new trend? (6/6/2006 7:35:04 PM)

Harry, Suleiman, and MsMacomb...you're killin' me....LOL

but hey, ya know...if it's a laptop...if he beats the keys hard enough.....

littlemissub -> RE: Is this a new trend? (6/6/2006 7:35:48 PM)

As a submissive woman, a lot of my email is in the form of orders.  You must do this, you must do that...

I ain't gotta "must do" anything, Buster!

Then there are the ones that start off ok, and by the 3rd or 4th email, are making the assumption that one surely knows them well enough to accept commands from them.

I have to wonder if they are getting enough oxygen.

LOL..ya know feastie, you could have something there....I mean this idiot is supposed to be in canada...maybe the air is really thin up there....LOL

~fast reply~

It does not matter if someone is "owned", "collared", "under consideration", "not available", "not searching for a submissive", etc. etc. etc. there are still going to be those that message anyway.  I do not know why this is, and I do ask when I get messages such as "Are you looking for a Master?", "are you looking for a dom?" regardless that my profile says "Not available".
It is just best to delete and move on, delete and move on.
So really it only stands to reason that male and female dominants also get their share of BS messages.
Delete and move on because I honestly, at least from my experience, do not see anyone ever owning up to why they do what they do.

totally agree...I've gotten those as well...at one point I did have someone...and this one guy in particular would email me at least once a week wanting to know if I was still with this guy and to keep him in mind...I tried to be nice but he got on my nerves...then when I cut this guy and told him so...guess what???[sm=hair.gif]   He stopped writing....lol

littlemissub -> RE: Is this a new trend? (6/6/2006 8:17:53 PM)

I love the e-mails that ask if I like sub men when I am very obviously a sub female myself, lol.

slavejlb -> RE: Is this a new trend? (6/6/2006 8:30:44 PM)

just to let you know yes i think that is a trend, i have been approch many times by young male sub, and i can be honest there is not place in my profile that states i am dom or even switch i think many get to read the name and that is about it.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: Is this a new trend? (6/6/2006 9:27:09 PM)

I didn't have that exact thing happen to Me, but a few similar experiences.

There was a sub who lives about two hours away that sounded very interesting.  W/we exchanged several e-mail, talked on the phone several times, then decided to meet.  The agreement was that I was going to check My work schedule, then get back with him in a day or two to let him know My available times so W/we could arrange a visit.  Well, I checked My work schedule, e-mailed him My available times, and what do I get in return?  An e-mail stating that he had been collared!  Either that is one fast-moving Domme, or he got cold feet and used that as his excuse (I'm pretty sure it was the latter).

Another time I met a submissive for dinner.  He did mention that he had interviewed with a different Domme, but passed Her up because she was "too demanding."  A few days after O/our dinner, I get this e-mail from a Domme stating that she owned this sub, that he told Her about our get-together, and she was going to punish him severely for what he did.  She stated that she in no way held Me responsible for what happened, that it was all his fault.  Don't know if this other Domme existed or not.  Could be he got cold feet and wrote that letter himself from a different screen name.

These time-wasting jerks would be funny if they weren't so pathetic.

Lady Topaz.

Loki, I really hate it when you talk about me like that in public![:D]

EvilGeoff -> RE: Is this a new trend? (6/6/2006 9:52:36 PM)

*chuckles*

There is a thread over on Literotica about "The Best of Asshats..." or something along those lines.

This falls right in there with them!  These bozos and their lamer e-mails and profiles are good for nothing beyond entertainment.  Accept them as such and get a chuckle out of their stupidity.

YIK,
- Geoff

Brosco -> RE: Is this a new trend? (6/6/2006 10:18:23 PM)

I think part of the problem is the male of the species has a major design flaw - his circulation system does not hold enough blood to operate both heads at the same time :)

Of course, there are a few females in this category also.

It is difficult to supply blood flow to two heads at once. Poor fools
