Actually it is still thursday here, but tomorrow will be just another day. Well not just another day, it is Lady Hib's birthday, but other than that, nothing special. I used to work at a place where we all would go to the bar after work any time the 13th fell on a friday but I don't think that had any thing to do with superstitions. It just seemed like a good excuse to go out and drink.

hm. i think i'll double check the cat's intentions when she curls up next to my neck in about an hour.

Thanks for the link KMsAngel.

I clicked on it hopefully - thinking I wouldn't have to wear my personalised zombie proof body armour as Australia was a supposed "safe zone". You can imagine my horror when I saw my street published on the map of Sydney clearly marked out as a "zombie danger zone". Eeeeeckkksss!

Now I'll have to stay in bed all day! So thank you thank you ... I needed the excuse!

i intend to brat DarkSteven 13 times in honor of the day.

waits for the movie, "dingos ate my zombie!"

in addition, i have already marked nearby gun shops...i am thinking that i could get by with something from savage chambered in .223, but that is only for ranges within 400 yards. i think i would prefer a bolt-action chambered in a 7.62x39 cartridge. military surplus ammo abounds, which, with its steel core, should punch an exit wound the size of a softball in said zombie's head. however, if the zombies are not the slow, shambling one, but the speedy fuckers found in Zombieland, i think that three lines of triple concertina wire behind motion-triggered claymores should stop anything that i miss (highly unlikely) from 50 - 100 yards.

if i am lazy and dont feel like dropping them individually, the roof mounted dual mhb50 machine gun, with an effective range of around a mile and a half and a cyclic rate of 750–850 rounds per minute should do the trick. note to self: find extra barrels. fuckin' rate of fire, baby! in the highly unlikely event that any make it through, my glock 9mm or .50 desert eagle will give them short shrift. if i think i need the exercise, i can always use the full daisho....though i prefer two daito instead instead of the shoto.

in the even more unlikely event of an overrun, the 500 kg of c-4 in the basement, which, when armed, is detonated by satellite if a delay signal is not received every 15 minutes.

ah, what the fuck. i'll just use a plasma rifle in the 40-watt range.

My Friday the 13th involved going to a funeral for one of my Dad's bestfriends. What was nice though, was so many people came to pay their respects to a man that was very well loved. The eulogies and service reflected celebrating his life and what he did for his friends & family despite battling cancer for 20 years.

I'm not really superstitious though.

So far I've won a free violet wand, found 45 bucks between the Giant and Wawa parking lot got Free McDonalds and Starbucks, the BEST parking spot on campus..

And i think im gonna buy scratch off tickets (last F13 i won about 400 bucks....)
