I'm sorry..I already know this is completely wrong place for me to post this question, but I looked down the list and could not find a proper forum to post it, so here I am.

ON CM, I am wondering if there is a way to modify a preference to show me invisible as opposed to online if I go there and just do my thing and browse. For example, on Yahoo IM, I can make myself invisible constantly and still use the program. As of right now, I have hidden my profile on CM for various reasons, but I just want to know if I can not let people see that I am online there.

Any suggestions?

You can browse to your hearts content on the other side without signing in.
I think the only thing you will be missing out on are those Likes Dislikes section of each profile.
You can also read everything here without signing in, but you won't see who the last person
that posted on a thread was until you go to that specific thread section.
You can be stealth here too, and will be invisible to others until you are on an individual post,
in which case your name appears in italics as someone who is viewing the post.

Upper right hand corner of this page, click on My Profile, then scroll to the
bottom area where it says Privacy Settings and check off Hide From Online User List.

For future tech questions, go to the very bottom of the forum where it says Test.

Click "My Profile" top right hand, look to the bottom in the privacy section and place a check in "Hide from online user list".
