Bucephalus -> Profile picture and forum avatar. (4/13/2012 5:28:21 PM)

I've been trying to get a picture to upload properly. Well two...one for my forum avatar and one for my profile picture. Whenever I upload the picture for my profile, it goes straight back to the default one with the silhouette (in other words blank). Same is sort of going for the forum, except here, I know I have the proper format and the proper dimensions? I have no idea what Im doing wrong. [&:]

Maybe it is too R or X rated for a main profile or avatar pic...read the TOC's here....

I'll assume you are not doing any uploading from your phone. That would bring up a whole different group of problems.

The site sometimes has a problem with suffixes..Jpeg and .jpg are the same thing but I have had the site not take the jpeg. For whatever reason its kicking your pic. Might be too large. Mb not dimension. Or it could be dimensionally to big.

I'll be happy to help you sort out what the issue may be.
Please check your email.

No it's definitely not explicit in the slightest. Just a generic picture of my face.

And no, Im not uploading from a phone, Blackswords lol.

And thank you very much Poised!

Oh lord do I agree. It was bugging me not having an avatar after having tried for a couple of days to get it to work! I owe ya one!

I wonder if you pressed the key at the bottom of the page.

That key tells the computer that you really did know what the fuck you were doing when you told it the first time.

It's the second one that's causing the problems Bucephalus.....follow me on this....the first one syncs in to the database. The second one needs to be less than 726 KB.

Now if the second one is ABOVE 726 KB, you have to go back and edit the first one to below 1.26 KB, (UNLESS the first one was under 922 KB....at which point, you have to insure that the second one is under 843 KB....assuming it's a JPG....if it's a bitmap....well.....you're basically fucked).

I hope that helped.
