Sorry, I hit the ok button before I was done explaining.

In other words, you have no intelligent comments to make on the topic. Good to know.

I thought reading comprehension was your forte... apparently it's just something you demand of others.

Look back a few.

We only have Zimmerman's word that this happened. There isn't even any evidence that's emerged as yet that the corpse broke his nose, never mind had him on the ground.

Once again....and again and again and again....he is INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. *Meaning*...barring any evidence to the contrary...beyond a reasonable doubt mind you....his word is presumed to be exactly what happened.

As you're fond of pointing out, this forum isn't a court of law. We're free to believe whatever we want him of Zimmerman here: hence your conviction that if he hadn't shot the lad the skinny teenager would have beaten him to death, and most of the rest of the forum's suspicion that he's farting through his teeth about that story. As has been pointed out several times, his past form suggests that he's a lot more likely to have initiated any violence that did take place than the scary hoody, and that any jeopardy he might have been in as a result was his own work, which is a bit of a fault in the "self defence" excuse you're insisting on.

More likely than an athlete suspected of burglary and drug involvement? Yeah right.

Let's compare records, shall we? You all seem to like to highlight Zimmerman's run-in with the police. People also like to call him a wanna-be cop...since that was his goal. Well....there are scores of police officers who get assault charges filed on them, only to have them disappear when the facts come out. So...Zimmerman's no different.

However, a 17-year-old thug who's been found to have burglary tools at school *and* be suspended for his involvement with drugs....yeah I think he's more likely to initiate a confrontation...especially with a man who lost sight of him and was returning to his vehicle.

"High school" is the key phrase here. 17 year olds are rarely built like William Perry, you'll find. There's other positions in an American football team besides linebackers, several of which can be played perfectly well by a skinny teenager. Even a limey knows that much...

And even the weakest guys on my high school football team could hold their own in a fight. Remember, a 17-year-old football player is 1 year away from a college football player and thus, 5 years away from being in the NFL. And on any football team, even the kicker has occasion to have to tackle another player. Skinny my ass.

By all reports, he was what? 6' and 160lbs?

My god! What a hulk.

Dude, my kid is 13 and is a surfer and approaching that size. I hope he's not gonna have to be careful where he goes when he reaches his physical potential.
Oh wait, we don't allow ARMED KOOKS to patrol our neighborhood... Whew!

I can't comment on your arse, but the photos of Trayvon Martin do not make him look physically imposing.
As I've said before: if Zimmerman was in fear of his life from a 160 pound beanpole, then he belonged in a knitting circle, not a neighbourhood watch scheme.

I guess you would call it a bias... I am BIASED towards not having armed idiots patrolling MY neighborhood. Perhaps that kind of shit is valid to you.

If someone is causing a problem that constitutes a threat up here, we call the police. And trust me, there's nothing any more dangerous in Florida than there is in Mass.
But really, if you're scared of something, go ahead and get loonies with guns to patrol your neighborhood... Certainly, with a governor like Scott Walker, you have more excuses than I do RO

Think about it... It's a gated community. They were apparently too fucking cheap to hire professional security guards. But no, egos and cheap-ass thinking caused them to fuck their little world up big time. No lawyer representing the condo association involved in that set of decisions I bet. Can't think of a legal advisor saying "it's a carry state. go ahead and pack"
These guys are the cream of the idiot crop.
Oh wait we can't call em IDIOTS till they're proven stupid, now can we?

Personally, I would rather dopes like those have to go through that "Somebody look up the number for 911", rather than arm incompetents.
But that's just me.
