Trust honesty and some common sense . If I work late then don't think i am seeing someone other than the kid at the check out counter .

Honesty, ability to openly communicate, and a smattering of patience for important things. Those are overall character traits I cannot do without. If any of them are missing then it just won't work. If they lie to themselves or me, are unable to talk to me about anything, or are so impatient with anything that is not instant... then it's going to crash and burn shortly after take off, assuming it even made it off the ground. More general personality traits? Kindness, humor, and at least detectable levels of common sense. For kink? Just the willingness to try things and be open minded. I don't think there is any one kink I couldn't live without, but it would be a problem if she hated almost everything and was unwilling to experiment with anything new.
