So far it looks like CoCo is winning. But I kinda wanted a bit more creativity. It seems to cliche'

Didums. Adorable!! Congrats

Hillwilliam -> RE: new pup (4/16/2012 9:05:11 PM)

Phydeaux if you have any Cajun blood.

TNDommeK -> RE: new pup (4/16/2012 9:07:48 PM)

Delilya, thanks!!

No cajun blood here, Hilly. But I like your enthusiasm. I might be picky, just a bit. Keep trying though. I'm coming up with nothing though.

KMsAngel -> RE: new pup (4/16/2012 9:28:08 PM)

The little twelve pounder in my house does. Queen Sophia, ruler of all she surveys and much she doesn't. Honestly, she can be a real bitch without a lot of stern discipline and quite often, when we have company, some 'alone time'. Or D Block as we call it.

But yeah, in her mind the world is her oyster and all humans are only here to serve her. If we serve no purpose to her, we are useless.

Big soft warm blankets will be taken as Royal Property. Beware sitting on those blanket as they may be a lair for a very testy presence that will likely warn any possible intruders with weird, tazmanian devil like noises, to stay away.

All other 4 legged creatures better learn to submit to the Royal One promptly or there will be battle. My 85# German Shepherd has the scars from those 'lessons'.

And beware the piranha like feeding frenzies. If you do not control feed, you will quickly have an obese dog and that you do not want.

You will also learn to keep little weird things like bread ties, off the floor and have links to 'things/foods/plants poisonous to dogs" as they will eat the strangest things imaginable. Like oak tree leaves that were caught blowing across the yard and are 'prey'. Raisins dropped by kids. (both toxic to dogs). Apples that have fallen off the tree and are laying on the ground rotting. Much grass. Flowers. Fuzz balls off an old blanket... Soysilk soymilk lids. And on and on.

Forgive me if I offer more information than needed. It was a steep learning curve here. Aside from a few years with a Bichon Frise a long time ago, I had only ever had large dogs. This minpin dynamo was a whole new experience.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

OsideGirl -> RE: new pup (4/17/2012 9:57:58 AM)

My brother has one named Short Round after the boy in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. We call him Shorty. LT is correct, these little dogs can eat twice their weight if they get into the food unsupervised. (Shorty once ate an entire can of corn from a bowl that my brother set down to answer the phone)

She kinda looks like a Zsa Zsa to me.

Congrats on the new dog!

DesFIP -> RE: new pup (4/17/2012 10:28:19 AM)

I don't know why, but I took one look and said Pumpkin.
