ORIGINAL: Toppingfrmbottom I personally do not see the point in paying good money for a plant and then killing it once winter comes along, but that's just me, and i do not have lots of plants that need going inside or protecting. So this one plant would have plenty of room lol. It's the same principle as planting annuals in your garden. Lovely to look at, beautify your planting beds, and then when the season is over, they're compost. Hibiscus fall into the annuals category as far as I'm concerned. I do have jade plants, pothos, and lots of other plants that do stick around quite a bit longer - but again, when they get past their prime, they're compost. I'm not someone who feels the need to hold on to everything I ever get. If you're someone who has trouble getting rid of things - I wouldn't get started on plants with the hopes that they'll be beautiful year after year. They often are not.
