What NBMG said. In my case, I look for honesty, integrity, intelligence, a bit of geekiness, compatible interests, a good sense of humor...pretty much what I'd look for in any other friend/partner. As for how I treat virgins, I treat them like people since that's what they are. Everyone is different so I can't give you a cookie cutter answer.

I already expect the same from any other person in My life as far as a decent human being.

As far as an s-type, I want obedience. For someone new, I can handle sex being off of the table until the dynamic is strengthened. I'm not big on that expression about "being used" when it comes within the confines of a dynamic. It makes someone sound like they think submission is tied up in their cock or ass. Believe Me. It's not. A Dominant woman can get a piece of tail anywhere. Even virgin tail.

Instead of your fantasies about being used, why not focus on being the type of submissive that a woman sees as a higher priority?

While I'm sure it varies from person to person, my primary concern with a male slave is that they're looking to serve me, not have me fulfill their fetishes. That said, it is also helpful if they communicate what kind of play they enjoy so that I can take that into account and come up with activities that we will both find fun and fulfilling.

Beyond the normal standards of anyone I like to spend time with, what I expect and desire in a slave: obedience and quality service.

How I treat a slave varies by that relationship. Sometimes there is warm friendship or romance, sometimes they are well heard and I take their feelings into consideration, sometimes there is no friendship or romance, sometimes I don't take their feelings into consideration, sometimes everything is in detail worked out for consent, sometimes there is a "consensual non-consent" agreement and I go from there.

It depends on how we connect and what we want.

Whatever the slave's purpose in the owner's life, it's a negotiated relationship. There isn't a perfect "this is the way" answer. There are basic things that most people will want in a servant---obedience, the ABILITY to follow directions, the desire to please, the ability/desire to learn and adapt, conventional manners and proper speech... a person you would not be embarassed to have around. After that, it's up to the person.

While the purpose of serving is service, think about what YOU want, and what serving really means to you. If it has a sexual meaning, then head on over to whereever the young people hang out, and get a girlfriend. If it's more than that, get out and meet local people. Google "TNG BDSM", and see if there is a younger people's group in your area, and learn by doing and experiencing. So many fantasies should stay that way... but even more are better in real time.
