hey guys, sorry if this is in the wrong forum section.... bit new to all this and wondered if anyone had any advice on meetin people etc (and also just this website lol)

Hi philthy, thanks for joining us here on the message boards.
I'm not in the UK so I have no specific knowledge of places that are available for you to meet other kinky folk at,
but if you type in U35, bdsm, and other such keywords into google, you may come up with meet and greets in your neck of the woods.

search for "munches" and your city, or cities around you that you can easily get to, that should turn up a few hits.
As for how to meet people, just be yourself :)

thanks, its pretty intimidating meeting someone for this kind of thing tho, plus ive had a dodgy experience before... so kinda looking to chat a bit online first really but not sure how to go about meeting people on these sites really?

Actually for the U35, you might want to tailor it to "BDSM U35". Otherwise you're going to get history and info on an Asus motherboard and you may get a US naval ship. Possibly a .....destroyer or maybe a WWII sub or something like that. But I know the Asus motherboard is for a laptop--geek girl and studying computer forensics.

Munches are groups that go out somewhere regular for a meal/drinks - it's usually very vanilla and if you explain to the person who runs it that you're new, they'll usually help with introductions. Also join Fetlife to seek out other kinksters in your area.

It's really not any different than a vanilla dating site. You read profiles. See someone you like. You write to them. Maybe they write back, maybe they don't. If they do, you take it from there.

My suggestion is simply be honest and be yourself.
