Too much of a good thing? For these women and their partners, it is NOT a dream come true.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3bLbbvsYRs&feature=related

Surprisingly, the one effective non-surgical treatment was external electro applied to balancing acupuncture points. What interests me about this is I have always used electro to stimulate flagging libido (as well as for healing and pain relief). I didn't know it could also balance PSAS. Guess it's all about specifics; where and in what form it is applied.

I love the way they immediately and automatically turn and attack men. As if, of course.

Well, I can see their point. They have absolutely no need for one.

Hey! They started it. Had they some manners I would have some too.

I didn't get that at all, Frosted. One was too ashamed to talk to her husband about it, one sleeps in another room so her husband can get some rest, and the newlywed couple seems to be working it out. The single young woman at the end takes care of her own needs with toys, but she doesn't seem to be dissing men in any way.

For those who were also wondering about PSAS:

Persistent genital arousal disorder

Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD), originally called Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome (PSAS) and also known as Restless Genital Syndrome (ReGS or RGS),[1][2] results in a spontaneous, persistent, and uncontrollable genital arousal in women, with or without orgasm or genital engorgement, unrelated to any feelings of sexual desire. It was first documented by Dr. Sandra Leiblum in 2001,[3] only recently characterized as a distinct syndrome in medical literature with a comparable counterpart increasingly reported by men.[4] Some physicians use the term Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome to refer to the condition in women; others consider the syndrome of priapism in men to be the same disorder. Priapism is a recognized diagnosable medical condition by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders IV, whereas PGAD is not.[4][5] In particular, it is not related to hypersexuality, sometimes known as nymphomania or satyriasis. Hypersexuality, nymphomania, and satyriasis are also not recognized diagnosable medical conditions by the DSM-IV. In addition to being very rare, the condition is also frequently unreported by sufferers who may consider it shameful or embarrassing.[6]

Physical arousal caused by this syndrome can be very intense and persist for extended periods, days or weeks at a time. Orgasm can sometimes provide temporary relief, but within hours the symptoms return. The return of symptoms, with the exception of known triggers, is sudden and unpredictable. Failure or refusal to relieve the symptoms often results in waves of spontaneous orgasms in women and ejaculation in men. The symptoms can be debilitating, preventing concentration on mundane tasks. Some situations, such as riding in an automobile or train, vibrations from mobile phones, and even going to the toilet can aggravate the syndrome unbearably causing the discomfort to verge on pain. It is not uncommon for sufferers to lose some or all sense of pleasure over the course of time as release becomes associated with relief from pain rather than the experience of pleasure.[7][8]

A Dutch study has connected PSAS with restless legs syndrome.[9]

Thank you, kali. I happened upon the youtube link while looking up info on an electro device.

What a shame that the disorder takes the pleasure out of something so fundamental. Worse yet are the humiliation and jokes the women endure from their doctors and ignorant dickwads who think this is some kind of blessing.

Karmastic -> RE: 100 Orgasms A Day: PSAS (4/24/2012 12:41:05 PM)

had no idea.

unimaginable how they deal with this.

If you replay the first minute.

That was the only minute I listened to. What was in it is why. Perhaps I misinterpret, but, I was insulted and they don't even know if I was there to insult.

Had you gone past the first minute you would have understood that your taking insult was because you really did not hear it in context.
Those were clips of their dialogue in which they were expressing their experience.

The woman who you thought was attacking men? That is actually what she told her male gynecologist, who snickered and said "she was every man's dream". She said that as a way of explaining to him that it was a real problem.

FrostedFlake -> RE: 100 Orgasms A Day: PSAS (4/26/2012 7:54:10 PM)

Hmmm...

The impression I had was that an assumption was made that, because of my gender, that OF COURSE I had a smirk on my face and an ignorant knowing look in my eye. The impression I had was of a preemptive slam intended to clear the room of COCK roaches.

Perhaps I missed a few important words.

Maybe I owe someone an apology.

But I am not going to watch the film.

P.S. Why does a woman see a male gynecologist? Aren't women infinitely better prepared for that specialty?

cock baiting?

yourdarkdesire -> RE: 100 Orgasms A Day: PSAS (4/26/2012 8:12:15 PM)

Unfortunately, female gynecologists are very few and far between. We have seven in my small city, and only one is a woman.

playfulotter -> RE: 100 Orgasms A Day: PSAS (4/26/2012 8:15:46 PM)

I don't believe a video without any scientific verification...come on..... We know how much stuff online is faked..especially on this site! Show me a step by step explanation of why these women are how they are and I might believe it....sorry to be the skeptic!

As they say..don't believe everything you read...or see.

MistressDarkArt -> RE: 100 Orgasms A Day: PSAS (4/26/2012 8:31:44 PM)

Uhh, I believe Kalikshama provided the details above. [8|]

Try reading the complete post before spouting off. Just because this syndrome doesn't affect YOU doesn't mean it isn't real to those who suffer from it.

And the believed cause of PSAS is explained quite well in the video for non-medical laymen. Sorry they didn't make it simple enough for you to understand.

you would think so and I tried a few female doctors when i was younger but imo, the very opposite is true,.. they were sadists and/or didnt give a shite about how women patients feel.. for instance,.. doctors use cold metal thingies inserted inside and I found that the male doctors were much more aware and would at least try to warm them up a bit, and they were gentler.. the women docs i tried couldnt care less how rough they were or how cold the thingie was.. and in general, i just got a whole lot less respect from female docs..

So since then i only go to male doctors and preferably male doctors only a few years out of school cuz they are up on the latest medical info, whereas older docs are working so much that they tend not to have kept up.. Now thats just my experience and there could be some good female docs out there, but i will stick with my younger male docs..

You are welcome to use female docs then next time you get a prostate exam,.. let me know how that goes for ya.. [:D]

LadyHibiscus -> RE: 100 Orgasms A Day: PSAS (4/26/2012 8:56:00 PM)

I see a nurse practitioner who works out of the (male) doctor's office. She's great! It's true that having the lady parts is no guarantee of being good with patients. Just as many female doctors are jerks as males.

Agree. I had one. She was a fecking nightmare and I fired her after a few appointments. When I needed 'female' surgery, I picked the two best people for the job, both respected OB/GYNS: one male, one female. Both excellent surgeons.

FrostedFlake -> RE: 100 Orgasms A Day: PSAS (4/26/2012 10:08:19 PM)

Well, ladies, I am surprised and disappointed.

Thinking things over, I suppose I have no reason for surprise. I have encountered a number of truly astonishing medical professionals, myself. I well understand the joy that finding a good Doctor can be. It is so much better than begging for care while being considered a nuisance and malingerer, it seems like a different World.

(Don't get me started about Jail Doctors. Vicious animals.)

Are you serious? Because there are not that many female ones around, I tried female once twice and I didn't get on with them, one was quite rough and told me something that had me in tears (and I do have a fairly high pain tolerance) "didn't really hurt" (not her obviously) and she had 3 children without any form of anesthetics - I told her "How nice for you" jumped down, grabbed my clothes and changed docs. Another one wanted to do a surgical procedure, nothing that I decide on the spot and on the chair and told her that I have to think about it and need time, I'm not going to sign a consent form after she springs something on me. Got home and called a bunch of friends, one of them had seen her and she also wanted to cut, she said after talking to her friends that seems to be the first thing that doctor does. So I went for a 2n opinion, to a male gynecologist some friends said is great, he was (said there is no reason for surgery but it's quite lucrative), so I stuck with him until I moved away.

Nothing against female doctors, my GP and dentist are female, not going to them because of their gender but because they are good doctors. A doctor making inappropriate comments about something that really bothers me - I would change doctors ASAP!

I'm sure there are some excellent female gynecologists about, but usually when you pick an ob gyn, you don't want to go through trial and error a lot, so you ask around and find one your friends say they are happy with, if it happens to be a man, he's a man, if it's a woman, well then it's a woman. Qualification doesn't come with gender.

Male doctors because they don't have the female parts tend to handle them with greater care, in my experience while women are often a bit like "Got one of those things myself, they won't break and it's just a bit of pain and discomfort..."

There was a regular poster who is not here any more who was afflicted with this.
it was hell for her.

There aren't enough of them.

I have seen 3 healthcare specialists of each gender in caring for my lady parts... not counting the IVF procedure providers or the college heath clinic that handled my birth control both of which I saw multiple caregivers.

Of those I had one less than gentle encounter with a female gynecologist.
The others were really good to me.

My regular physician is a woman and I love the care she gives me.
