have to ask all the women here-as of last week our new house guest for a while asked me now that there are two women here can you lift the toilet seat?my question to them is dont you look before you drop your naked but on anything? the hinge on the seat is for going both ways--

This is true, however it is simply a nice thing to do. Here at this house we close the lid because we have hethern (sp?) dogs that do not understand drinking out of the toilet is gross. Also, I think this should be posted in the off topic forums, so the mods might come and move it. At any rate, if you're asking My opinion, it takes a second to lift the lid. So maybe just lift it for them. Think of it like opening the door for a lady, except this time, it's the lady's parts you're opening the door for. LOL

Hmm interesting, i once worked at a place where the toilet did'nt have a lid and we had great debate over whether the seat should be up or down when not in use, welcome to CM

A novel way to introduce yourself. But to the question. Isn't it preferable aesthetically (asstheticklee) when you walk into the can (can) to find the seat down, regardless of gender? Isn't this more a matter of maturity (caringforothers) rather than whether you sit or stand? Mind you, I assume what she actually asked was if you would put the seat down. If she actually did ask you to put it up... ...quit pissing on the seat. Oh, and, ...welcome to CM. well thanks all, i thought that might get a rise from the women, and now i have to drop the seat,dont want to have to pull one out during the night --lol

I was taught that toilets have a lid for a reason and that no one wants to see the inside of the toilet when they're in the bathroom.

I have a toilet, but the lid is up and there are no women here. So I'm ok with my toilet!
