I know this is for sure off topic..but I have looked and looked on the internet and can't find what I am looking for.

I would love to surprise my Master with this picture..and can't seem to find it anywhere. It is from one of His favorite stories and I know it would mean so much to Him..and more to me to have found it for Him.

It is from what I understand the Gautam Buddha ..and it's an image or painting of him holding a rose.

Don't know if anyone can help me or not..but it is worth a shot I guess.

I'm not sure from your profile where you live. But there are Buddhist temples in both Va and Indiana. You may want to look there. Even a quick phone call to one of the temples may put you in the right direction.

Is there any chance it is Buddha holding a Lotus vs a rose ? I have seen that one.

mbmbn, I googled a bit and that's the closest I could find to what Ticia said.... an aside; they had an open house at the Buddhist temple near here this weekend, had tours of the gardens, etc... very nice.

Thank you both very much.. I will keep looking into it. I usually had only seen the lotus flower ones also.. but this has something to do with the story of the rose..
