Thanks all for your kind words of welcome and encouragement. I am doing my best to be patient. Relocation, though, looks to be a real possibility. I must meet my match, and if she's not here, I'll find her somewhere else.

i use coconut shells and vines. when the lightning strikes and i am well-grounded, i can check three, maybe four messages! actually, telephone and internet lines circle the island. service is solid unless there is a typhoon, or unless a brown tree snake fries a transformer. texting and phone to the mainland are free, just like between states. this place is incredible, but so, so far away from friends and family on the mainland usa. i've tried to find compatibility here but the scene is incredibly underground, and secrets travel like wildfire. who knows how long i will be here...
