Hi, l just want to know if l choose a master and l am not happy, can l back out and look for another and also if l do something called K9 is it legal. Thank you

Unless slavery is legal in your jurisdiction, you are free to leave.

I hope by K9 you mean "puppy play," or animal roleplay, which is legal.

Of course you can change your mind about being with someone. There isn't any way to make you stay with someone when you don't want to. That being said, there's a lot to say for being choosy to begin with and proceeding cautiously so you make a good choice in your partner. You can conceivably come to a lot of harm with BDSM type activities, you're going to want to go slowly with coming to trust someone that you do this with - you may pay a big cost physically or emotionally if you don't. Guys are going to tell you all kinds of stuff, keep your wits about you and be very firm about your boundaries. If someone doesn't like that, you can find another person better suited to you.

The sexual activity you asked about is illegal in your country (google it) and goes on a state by state basis in the US as far as legality. It is considered an illegal act on this site and is a reportable offense to the moderators. I hope you are not considering something simply because someone is asking you or telling you that you're supposed to do it - I'm not going to get into the whole dynamic thing here but you can always walk away from something you do not wish to do. A slave or submissive does not HAVE to do what others tell them to do. Use your head, D/s is just like dating. Find someone that suits you and be in control of what you wish to do and where you wish to go with it. By the way, at your age I'd stick with being submissive for now, you'll get less men trying to push you around. It's pretty important to keep your common sense and try things that way and not do them because someone says you should.

Do you mean choosing a Master and having his collar upon your neck or just saying that He is your Master and being his slave ? For if you mean just talking with a Master and not liking him, then why not leave. If you mean if you have got his collar on your neck or you have said that you will be his, and some do not need a collar around their neck to say that they are with a Master, and then after a while you want to leave, then YOU are not doing the FIRST RULE of any relationship...COMMUNICATION.

With any good communication, apart from the stories that females and males are together after 5 minutes and have been with each other for decades after that, you need to talk and write to each other after some time to get a feel for each other traits and likes and dis likes. It does not come out of the blue, sometimes it does take work...apart from the people that just click and go for decades.

Just a question to clarify. Are you talking an internet fantasy game here or, real live in person hands on kinda dealio?

And, it has been MY experience that people referring to K9 are referring to an activity that I personally find morally reprehensible and is illegal, at least where I live.

1) Rather than choosing a Master.....go date, decide if you actually like them before committing to a relationship.

2) M/s is a consensual relationship. Yes, you have the right and ability to end any relationship.

3) What most people mean by K9 is not legal in most places.

If you're new enough to not know the answers to these questions, I'm not really sure you're ready to be in an M/s relationship. Go out to local events. Meet people. Have fun. Learn. Then go for the relationship.

Slavery is illegal in the UK
you can leave the relationship at any time.
K9 = refers to bestiality. You will be having sex with dogs. It is illegal in the UK.

Why would you not be able to back out?  Becoming someone's "slave" is a concept within the relationship.  They don't legally own you, and you are free to end the relationship at any time you like.

Once again for the millionth time....bdsm relationships are no different than any other relationships on the planet. If you're not happy you're free to leave anytime you wish. If the other holds you against your will then you call the police.

As for K9...I'm not even going to answer that. If you have to actually ask that then I won't even respond.

I'm right there with ya along with the fact that a dog cannot consent. And the argument that the dog enjoys it is bullshit. A 13 year old boy would probably enjoy it too..but it would still be wrong.

Based on the definition of K9 provided in this thread, I am in agreement with those who state that an animal cannot consent, therefore, NO to this activity. Period.

To me, whether bestiality is illegal or not is completely irrelevant. I think the consent aspect answers the moral question without even having to consider the legality. If legality is the only thing stopping some of you from doing this, then I have serious concerns. Just saying.

It is my understanding that there are jurisdictions in the U.S. where there are no laws on the books prohibiting bestiality. It is also my understanding that not all countries have laws against bestiality. So my only point in my prior post about legality is simply the point that for me legality alone is not the deciding factor. Even if I were in a jurisdiction where bestiality were legal, I think because of the consent issue, this is not something that should be done even if someone had an interest in this kind of thing. To anyone reading this thread, I would hope it is not just the legality of bestiality that governs whether you find this acceptable or not - not just for yourself, but even for others.

I realize the OP asked only "is it legal" - but to me this issue is not just about legality in a particular jurisdiction.

Even if there is a contract, you can leave. They aren't binding, no matter how seriously some relationships take them. And of course, discussing things with your partner before leaving is generally good advice in any type of relationship as a matter of courtesy if nothing else. But that doesn't prevent her from leaving if that's what she feels she needs to do.

Contracts aren't legally binding, so even if there's a contract you can end the relationship. And part 2) I hope terminating the relationship would be discussed whether there was a contract or not.

Thank you everyone for the advice and l never knew it was about real animals. I know they can't consent and it sounds cruel.

I never knew l had a choice once l am in a D/s relationship and it makes me feel happier now. I really want to try and so l will get someone sometime later, if they want me.
