my first answer before realizing this thread was so old...
OP, i understand the need to rant, and sometimes, it's good.
but if you're really taking this that so seriously, that it really gets you very upset, then there's other things probably going on, and i humbly suggest you take a few steps back and re-evalutate why things are making you so mad. this doesn't sound like a healthy dynamic.

unfortunately, calamitysandra must have read my mind, because my rant is well expressed in hers. calamitysandra, i'm not sure if you meant in the BDSM context, but that's the context i would mean, so i added that word in bold below.
