I miss the radio this place used to have. We need tuneage.

To facilitate this I'm putting up a link for a tune I like. Then I'm going to make a genre request (rock & roll, country, bluegrass, you name it), and ask the next poster to post a song they like from that genre, then make their own genre request...and on it goes.

I do make one small request: a little diversity please. If we get stuck on 23 death metal songs in a row, I may hurl a little. (That's not a shot at death metal either...anything too repetitive seems to knock my noggin the wrong way.)

That said, the tune I've picked to start things off is The Beatles - Revolution. I love these guys. I wouldn't mind hearing a country tune to chase this up. Anyone care to post one? Jump on in.

Hey there Mr Dj! [;)] I'd like to offer up some Badonkadonk, by Trace Atkins.

To keep me on the dance floor, I'd love to hear some flamenco please.

Indeed! Will El Camino do...?

Hmm. This could use some soft rock to chase it up.

Will a little trip down Memory Lane to Shambala be okay?

Anybody for some big band swing?

It so happens that I'm In the Mood. I enjoy a VERY wide selection of music.

This could use a taste of soul music to add a little heat to things!

Heating things up and Sending You A Kiss.
Perhaps a little classical piano to go with my morning?

igor2003 -> RE: DJ For A Day (5/9/2012 11:20:01 AM)

I think it is too late for your morning, but how about a little Fur Elise to help you through the afternoon?  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTe2YxW29BE

As long as we are at the piano, how about some ragtime?

Hillwilliam -> RE: DJ For A Day (5/9/2012 12:24:28 PM)

This http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQNo1feJCNg should bring back memories of a great movie.

Now that we've heard that, hows about some classic rock?

Can you handle A Whole Lotta Love?
I'd like to hear a folk song.

RemoteUser -> RE: DJ For A Day (5/9/2012 6:11:42 PM)

While we should infuse a little folk, since the times, they are a changin.

This rough song-soliloquy whittled from wild hearts and fallen days should be a beautiful precursor for some rhythm and blues... Anyone got an R&B tune they enjoy??

igor2003 -> RE: DJ For A Day (5/9/2012 8:39:17 PM)

Sit right back and enjoy...One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer.

Anybody got a favorite movie theme song?

poise -> RE: DJ For A Day (5/13/2012 6:12:22 PM)

Gosh, I hope I don't lose any listeners over this one "Love Theme from The Eyes Of Laura Mars"

Does anybody have the blues?

RemoteUser -> RE: DJ For A Day (5/13/2012 6:41:27 PM)

What can I say, I can relate when a fellow Canadian has the Walkin' Blues.

Does anyone out there ever listen to reggae?
