Then only ones who want it are the pigs at the trough suey suey. Hey, what happened to listening tothe armed forces? isnt it welfare in a time of base closing to buoild a new base the serivces don't want? I am sure paul Ryan will make a moral stand agoant wasteful spending.....

They will be able to pay for it too with the gutting they are doing on the SNAP program today. Hopefully the Senate will reduce this to yet one more instance of the Republicans wasting America's time bringing up shit in the house that WILL NEVER PASS SENATE... Or is it just that they keep finding a lamp on the beach and making wishes?
Whatever, the idiots that elected this R congress are getting fucked out of their eye teeth.

one of the first dilbert cartoon had him building a star wars from a 1.98 cracker jack box plan and the caption was something about savng billions for an equally effective plan. Why not just build some rubber band catapaults and call it a day...equal effectiveness in blind testing. Iwish I could find the cartoon

That was the last time the GOP could claim that they had an excuse for flagrant and insane overspending on "military" projects that serve no purpose.
It's notable that the collapse of the soviet union didn't stop that, and the first guy they had in power after the fall was definitely beyond doubt still went pissing away money your country couldn't afford to waste like that still served some purpose in this century...

Remember the BUDGET DEFICITS under saint Ronald? And the simple fact that the USSR was not defeated by Saint Ronald. The USSR collapsed under a system that could not work, and the PEOPLE got tired of it.
