The Star Beast, Have Spacesuit -- Will Travel, Sixth Column, Space Cadet. Or you can try some of the short stories. "If This Goes On -" is one that you might like. Kind of interesting since the crux of the story is Nehemiah Scudder's election in 2012. "Waldo," is also a favorite of mine. I really just thought that it would be fun to throw another quote out there. Woodrow Wilson Smith a.k.a Lazarus Long a.k.a Captain Shefield a.k.a. I have no idea how many others, was named after the President in the stories.
