No budget has been passed in the Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate. None has been put up for a vote in that time, either. But one was submitted April 26, 2010, or 640 days before Isakson issued his press release. Did I say the republicans weren't also blocking before they took control... you cute little politifact (not well regarded land of the Obameter.. try snopes or some credible source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PolitiFact.com#Criticism_of_specific_fact_checks). I'm sorry the republicans have decided to behave like a fucking skin rash in congress instead of a "get something done" majority. They have created a FAILED CONGRESS AND BOEHNER GETS THE BLAME. I'm having a tough time between guffaws in writing this. You tell me to try a credible source, and then quote ... lmao ... wikipedia?!?!? While I do find Wiki to be a great place to start research and to get leads, it's not usually the only source I use. That's fantastic, though. Beautiful. Now, if you'd like to push up a link from snopes, I'm more than happy to read it and respond. The House of Representatives has been passing things, and the Senate has been voting those things down. Yet, it's the Republicans who are failing? How is that? How is it that, in a two party system where one party rules one house and the other party rules the other house, when they can't get things passed, it's the fault of only one party? Ideologies certainly do throw up some crazy shit, don't they?
