Things that make you go hmm...

These days, the numbers look good for Walker. The public opinion polls, which registered a virtual dead heat in recent months, are beginning to inch in his favor. A Marquette Law School survey released May 16 has the incumbent up six points, a big swing from last month’s virtual tie. It’s one of at least five polls in recent days that showed the incumbent edging ahead.

The new Rasmussen poll of the Wisconsin recall election gives Republican Gov. Scott Walker the lead over the Democratic nominee, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, in the first public survey conducted by any firm since Barrett won his primary on Tuesday.

The numbers: Walker 50%, Barrett 45%. The survey of likely voters was conducted on May 9, the day after the primary, and has a ±4.5% margin of error. There is no previous Rasmussen poll of a Walker-Barrett race for direct comparison.

Yeah, a fucking rassmussen poll.  I'm pretty sure somebody counts chickens, and inaccurately.

Yeah, one of five rassmussen polls, which is to say dogshit.

Yeah, the one where he was in the 85% with McCain voters?   While you can now claim you are the guy to get me to see the DailyKOS for the first time, you might have brushed up on what that survey said, that wasnt at all favorable to your assclown Walker.

I didnt bother with anything else, you failed that one so miserably.

Didn't we have a thread in here where we proved what a shitty, declining polling firm rassmussen was?

Daily KOS is a shitbag website to give non-readers on right a feeling of satisfaction. You will note that I nearly always seek a reliable source for my posts whereas 'credible' (HAHAHAAHAHAHA) guys like rob apparently AREN'T so choosy.

Um, it was Ron who questioned that there were FIVE different polls, Skippy. He thought they were all Rasmussen, so I had to prove otherwise... and now you both look silly.

You heard Romney is now running from reporters and throwing aides and secret service in their way so he doesn't have to answer the hard questions, right?
Not a very stand up guy.

I missed that one, but have heard all kinds of shit about the man. Of course it's coming from the left and their track record for telling the truth isn't too high, so I am ignoring most of it.

Just in case you might want to apologize for calling someon telling the truth a liar.
http://www.businessweek.com/news/2012-05-17/romney-ropes-off-media-to-avoid-making-unscripted-gaffes

I didn't call him a liar. I said I had never heard that one.

Passive aggressively calling someone a liar is still calling someone a liar. Now about that apology...

Sure, right after you explain how saying I didn't hear something equates to calling someone a liar.

Your implication was that since the poster was a leftist and you had not heard the story prior to that you did not believe the story, i.e. the claim was a lie.

You were wrong and should apologize.

So you don't like my sources (plural) therefore according to Skipper logic, not relevant to the topic... gotcha[8|]
Prove the data is flawed, you made the comment, now back it up.
Whaaa, he's pushing my buttons.

Bring it Skipper, starting with proof the links I posted were flawed.

mnottertail -> RE: US Senate 99 Obama's Budget 0 (5/22/2012 5:42:12 PM)

I dont know what your links were, or what your post was about unless it was about the vote on obamas budget, which ran into thousands of pages, and they voted on like a two or three page deal and it wasnt obamas budget.

Or is this birther or zimmerman shit?   Or walker is fucked thread?

No need to... You rethought the name calling.
That shows you still have enough neurons firing to know your place.

Wrong again. I said I hadn't heard the story and implied that when I did hear it, I probibly wouldn't believe it. Now since I don't get any of my news from the poster in question I could not have meant him when I said that. I also would not have used the term "their" track record if I had meant the poster I was replying to, I would have used "your" track record.

So now that that's cleared up, I will eagerly await your apology.

Wrong answer Pal...

quote:

(CNN) – The race between President Barack Obama and likely Republican nominee Mitt Romney is in a dead heat in Wisconsin, a poll released Wednesday indicated.

The survey from Marquette Law School showed both Obama and Romney garnering support from 46% of likely voters in Wisconsin. The numbers reflect a boost for Romney, who faced a four point deficit in the state the last time Marquette polled likely voters in April.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/05/16/obama-romney-tied-in-battleground-wisconsin/

Even though Wisconsin is the birthplace of the Republican party, you really have to consider the current lack of popularity for the Republican party due to the likes of Governor Walker and Rep. Ryan. I'd say that if Romney thinks he's going to win Wisconsin he's going to have to find a way to spread a thick layer of fertilizer over a lot of farm country here.

That bullshit poll you linked has a very small demographic, not nearly enough to get any kind of accurate read on public opinion.

quote:

The Marquette Law School poll was conducted by phone from 600 likely voters between May 9-12. The sampling error was plus or minus 3.8 percentage points.

1) Walker will not be recalled, the majority of support for his recall is from out of state unions.
2) Obama shredded McStain in Ws in 08, but Ws became a battleground state in 10 when the GOP kicked ass and won everything.
3) Likely voter polls are the most accurate, which is why Rasmussen kicks everyone's ass in polling.
4) The only fertilizer being spread up there is coming from the Donkeys.

1.) Wrong. In state unions, both public and private sector, are doing the majority of the work to remove this guy. They got the needed signatures about as quickly as they did to put the anti-union bill up for referendum.
2.) Irrelevant. They realized the mistake in voting republican/nazi party
3.) Still wrong. 600 people in a state with approximately 10,000 times the population is extremely inaccurate.
4.) The Republican/nazi party is divided, leaderless, and going down hard in November.

We'll see just how wrong you are in about 13 days. 2010 America proved just how much they thought of the socialist left's policies by electing Republicans in overwhelming numbers. I predict this trend will continue in June in Wisconsin, and the rest of the nation in November.

If you honestly beleive ANYONE in the mainstream Democratic Party is a "socialist", then you are stunningly ignorant.

Lets just see what the people of Wisconsin think on the 5th, and the rest of America in November, shall we?
